A spontaneous build of a Gawalai (Amphibax’s species) I did a while ago. Started with the head and had that built before I realized Amphibax uses a Nuva chest, not a Hordika chest… Still works, I think. And the head is actually quite a construction. I don’t think there’s a single 90° angle past the neck. That was fun to figure out.
When compared to Amphibax, this one here is quite large in relation to a to-scale Toa. I blame it on the dimensions of the head. But it was a fun little build. Time to reclaim the parts now… or turn it into an actual Amphibax revamp. Will have to see.
That head is phenomenal. Really excellent. I’m also impressed that you managed to build this off a Hordika torso, if only because I always have inordinate trouble using 'em. =P

This is a really fun MOC that brings out the best qualities of Amphibax while adding enough attributes for a distinguishable original character. Nice work!
