y’know, it’s kinda funny.

a topic about grammarly, an app to help with grammar, and the word “grammar” is mispelled in the OG Post.

Controversial opinion:
Learn how to grammar instead of letting a program do it for you.
Feels lazy, it artificially boosts your linguistic skill.

Fitting that I get a Grammarly ad in the lower margin.

I’ve heard of Grammarly through it’s hilarious Youtube ad that consists of a social media manager who essentially uses Grammarly as a crutch because she’s laughably bad at grammar. I once had to write a couple essays for school, and I downloaded it so I could get a small boost. One minute into having it, I find out that it’s not compatible with Google Docs and promptly uninstall it.

It’s not a bad tool to use (I assume), but you’re better off understanding proper grammar rather than writhing your hand all over a keyboard and fixing what it says to fix.

I had Grammarly for a while, but it never gave me information that I wanted to know. It either corrected words that I spelled incorrectly, which I already knew, or tried to enforce grammar rules that I ignore for stylistic reasons. Not very useful to me.
