“I suppose you think you won’t be the first to die and not the last.” Catina said while already holding her shotgun level with Sky’s midsection. “Try not to change good luck to bad, that we were forced onto this ship. All four of us. Including both them.” Catina said, nodding her head upwards at Midnight and Arrikay.
“And I knew you would still want to kill us, just as you did when you screeched like an angry jackal that our fledging family should all be killed.”
“Pull the trigger and make my day. Congratulations, my husband, and daughters are dead, and yours are alive. F*cking happy now?” Sky said, lacking energy in her words.
“Not the least bit happy concerning your loss.” Catina said. “We just found ourselves here against our will, and require this ship’s pulse converters to be disabled. Then we will be leaving.” Catina said to Sky, and everyone with Daylight in general.
“Is that device in this room?” Catina asked Midnight and Arrikay. “Kindly turn it off, then smash the controls.”
Catina then turned back to the entire Fireteam Daylight. “It is too bad our second attempt with FIreteam Daylight ended with that criminally insane stick girl shooting me in the leg with a sniper rifle for the fun of it. And Cabis really really wanting a quadruple kill, three unborn humans and their mother.” She said.
“I don’t think you’re getting out of here. In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a gravity well.” Sky said. “Otherwise you won’t go far.” She added, calmly strolling forward. “Follow us.”
“Yes” Cabis said walking forward and drawing his sword
Maul turned to see this action and stared “dont you dare”
Leo pulled out his shield and ran in between Catina and Cabis.
“Cabis, save them for later, dear.” Sky said. Chree glared at Sky
“No, i am sick of them coming back again and again. I hate them” Cabis said as he began to try push leo out of the way
“No no, sword rush a Spartan with a shotgun.” Catina said as she got her shtogun ready for him. “I even have enough experience with using a shotgun to counter sword Elites to inflict a non-fatal wound on him, and require Maul to help him move about. And I for one heeded Maul’s advice about wanton killing.”
Leo pushed back at Cabis.
Cabis knocked leo out of the way and began to sprint
“Cabis…” Chree put a hand on his shoulder.
“And you are some foolish female” Cabis kept his charge
As Maul looked to him
Catina fired a round into his chest plate, popping his shields and forcing him to cross his arms over the area the buckshot left what will be a nasty bruise.
“Stop now.” Catina said. " I can make no promises you would survive a second shot." Catina warned him as she racked the slide on her shotgun, getting another shell ready.
Chree stepped back. “Fine.” She sneered.
“Dad, please do not… I do not wish to lose you.” Damo said.
Leo stood back up and stepped infront of Catina again.
Catina lowered her shotgun, but was still in position to bring it back up quickly if she had too.
Cabis stomped forward slamming leo out of the way then slapped catinas shot gun
Omnicus grabbed Santiago by the neck, and violently teleported to the surface.
Void was considerably more gentle, resting a hand on Lobster’s shoulder and doing the same.
Shakes it Off and Enjoys Caffiene began interfacing with nodes connected to The Baron’s command chair, prepping the systems.
Sky grabbed Cabis. “Not you too… Please, Cabis…” Sky said to him. It didn’t seem to matter, anything she said to anyone. She was alone.
