Sky watched the two Wardens get ripped to shreds by Deceit and Joyous. “Let’s continue into the canyon.”
“I feel his presence.” Deceit said.
“Who?” Joyous asked.
“Void of Broken Harmony. He and another… Entity, are here.” Deceit said.
“Or maybe we should figure that out.” Sky said.
The Foxtrot cried out in pain. “I won’t sell out my family!” He screamed.
“We could split up.” Leo suggested.
“No thanks.” Sky said in a higher pitched voice. “I’m not losing you or anyone else, got that?” Sky asked, touching their helmets together.
Leo nodded. “Sounds good.”
Catina and Aries were still in their position, distant from the battle. As they both chose to hang back. Especially Catina, for once.
“I don’t give a d***” Lobster growled. He crouched down, moving his helmeted face towards the Foxtrot “I have a family, and while that gravity well is on, they aren’t safe. I don’t know who you are, and I don’t care, but I will take so much more than your feet. I will leave with the location of the Gravity well.”
Sarah somehow managed to fall asleep on Grace’s back.
Samuel rested his hand on Kiana’s shoulder to keep himself balanced.
“So, what can we do now?” Catina asked Aries. “The battle is that way, but our combat effectiveness is at an all time low.”
“Over there is the Pelican with a prisoner inside of it, that we can keep an eye on.”
“And dare I mention using this Pelican to return to the Darkstar II for our ship, belongings, weapons, and the Huragoks that are on it? Plus if any of those guys are like jarrod was, they would especially be after our clothes. Being the creepy weirdos they are.”
“Then you should understand.” The foxtrot said.
“Come with me.” Deceit ordered, taking his A.I. to find Void.
“I think we killed them all.” Aries said.
“Come on, Daylight, forward!” Sky shouted.
Leo nodded and followed.
Sarah snored softly on Grace’s back.
Lobster stood up, before slamming his foot into Foxtrot, sending him sprawling backwards.
The Foxtrot still stood his ground.
Grace smiled as Sarah slept.
“I still feel a little uneasy about leaving our ship there, when we could have just went back to it instead of the Pelican.” Catina said. “Plus I said some heartfelt words about Ana, and you-know-who just insulted me.”
“Sky did know her for a while…” Aries said.
Sky came upon yet another fort, the entrenched foxtrots fighting to the last.
“Max! Take the turret! I’m driving…” Two Spartans dashed toward a blue Scorpion. The tank grumbled on to the field, mowing down waves of Brutes.
Leo reloaded his SMG and readied himself.
“Maybe. I still feel that she was needlessly rude to me.” Catina said. “But in general, the LR did tend to treat me like I am a joke.”
“And I am curious as to how bad the Flood were on Draculus, after I advised former Admiral Jasper to inform the SoS of the flood outbreak soon after it had begun. So they could glass the planet post haste. He, and possibly others running the LR no doubt ignored my warning.”
Catina then looked on ahead to the other fort through her Sniper Rifle Scope. “It would seem they have a tank.” She said to Aries, then sighed. “I guess the joke who should be ignored could fire upon it with her SPNKr EM…”
“I’m always here for you, my Catina…” Aries said, hugging her.
“Wait… Is that Aries? Command, please advise.” James asked.
“Kill that b*tch as soon as possible. She betrayed us.” Tom replied.
“Got it, killing the girl.” James nodded, the blue tank scrolling forward.

“Void.” Deceit said as he and his group of Wardens appeared before Lobster.
Catina rested her head on Aries shoulder. Then picked it up and gazed as she saw a dust trail being kicked up by the tank heading towards them.
Catina aimed her SPNKr EM at the tank. Then as soon as the lock beacon went red, she unleashed all four rockets slightly above it, and watched as they sailed forward then dove down onto the top of the Renegade Scorpion.
Catina then activated her bubble shield, to be on the safe side. “Arrikay and Midnight.” Catina said to them over the coms “We have a tank problem. Could one or both of you take a second to destroy it?”

Lobster was spinning a knife in his hand, approaching the foxtrot when Deceit appeared. He stepped past the warden without looking, getting closer to his target. Santiago began spinning his own knife in a similar fashion, joining Lobster, and leaving the wardens to their buissness.
“Deceit” Void replied.
Omnicus glared.
“Sarah! Samuel! Let’s go!” Leo yelled as he turned to see the two.
Sarah kept sleeping.
Samuel was still off balance and used Kiana as support.
“Well you two are busy… I’ll do it myself!” Leo yelled as he charged at the tank. He lead with his shield and fired his SMG.
