I started Hollow knight a couple weeks ago, I’ve never played any other Metroidvanias so it’s a pretty new experience for me. I have about 20 hours in the game right now and so far I’m loving it.
I just beat the broken vessel which is my favorite boss so far though it was easier than I expected. I really like the atheistic of him, basically being an infected version of yourself.

I just beat pantheon 4, and so I’m moving on to sliksong now. PV was probably a good introduction to the amount of double damage I’ll be taking

I have just come to the realization that the larger half of my entire original Hollow Knight play through was completely cheated, as I only needed 19 soul to focus instead of 33, resulting in far quicker and far more efficient heals. All because I downloaded and played a gun mod for like 40 minutes 5 years ago which permanently altered my game files even after deleting it. My life is a lie.

I beat p5. And honestly it wasn’t as bad as I expected, except for absolute radiance.
I didn’t want to be done with this game yet so I decided to just commit to beating the last pantheon
