I’m sure you’ve heard that sentence before. It’s for when things happen rarely, but it’s weird that it even happened more than once. What situations make you go like this?
If I had a nickel for every time Lego released an orange robot with rotors, I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
If I had a nickel for every time my younger brother lost pieces from my new Mystery Minifigures, I’d have 3 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s concerning that it happened thrice.
Like, seriously, how many props can he possibly lose?
If I had a nickel for every time I had to rewrite a story (because I’m not happy with what I originally wrote) I would have enough to buy myself lunch several times a week 
If I had a nickel for every time I said Carapar with an exclamation mark on different topics I’d have 3 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird I’ve done that so often.
If I had a nickel for every time a fan fiction about Bioman was created in the HSH I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s concerning it’s happened twice.
If I had a nickel for every time I accidentally bought myself a Lego set twice, I’d have no nickels, because I spent the two nickels I got on more Lego.
One of my favourite variatons of the phrase was something i said a few month ago:
If i had a nickel for every time this week i’ve gone to bed crying, i’d still have an awful week, but at least i would have a few nickels.

Must be the yellow and blue tribes warring with each other. One day they’ll find that they can get along if they make sets like Aquagon.

If i had a nickel for every time i’ve seen fomeone’s username get censored for starting with s and ending in t and having two other letters, i’d have two nickles.
If I had a nickel for every time a xenophobic Ninjago villain claimed rulership of their isolated nation by committing regicide by killing their father (voiced by Ron Halder, who played no other roles in Ninjago) and then blaming said regicide on another factor and exiling their sibling, I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it hasn’t yet happened thrice, given how often Ninjago reuses similar villain stories.
If I had a nickel for how many times I’ve seen Project Hail Mary, I’d have two nickels.
I should really have more nickels.
