Reminds me of the “I hate Everything” Episode of Bionicle Mask of Light, where the guy told about similarities with the LotR(music, story, etc)

They’re based of the mata/nuva masks, most of which have the injection point being hidden as a “mouth”, the more detailed masks have more facial features, like vents pincers or… whatever Ekimu has?
If Ekmu is evil, I found a sneak G1 reference:
“You must find the mask and bring it to me.”

Yes, he will kill Makuta at the end of 2016 and become the main villain of 2017. The year will close with Ekimu dying and Makuta comibg back cleansed of his evil. There will be a fan outcry and Bionicle will come back in the next year, taking place five years later in a futuristic setting, where it turns out Ekimu is still alive as a program, and Bionicle becomes LEGO’s cash cow, producing season after season of TV series until it gets rebooted as a LEGO Movie spinoff.
Oh wait, this isn’t Ninjago.
