Time to bust out the old controller, this looks like a lot of fun.

Finally, I can get this game in June and play it after Lego Star Wars.

I kinda wish they waited for Episode 9 though… I’d love to have a trilogy for this.

Call me a slow thinker but I have only just realized that LEGO has the ability to seamlessly make a game from any of it’s IPs and port it like mental for maximum profit.

Hopefully for this game they release DLC for Episodes XI and IX (Unlike how it was for the Hobbit :rage:).
Looks fun, maybe this will be the game that will be worth getting a new console for.

I found out that they will be releasing a deluxe edition with season pass and exclusive “awakened/traitor stormtrooper” finn minifigure

Man that commercial really reminds me of classic Lego Star Wars. I really hope they recreate that feel in the game.

Welp, I need to buy a gaming console now.

Quite surprised they didn’t wait until around Episode IX’s release date for this… we’ll see how much they can do with just one movie.

That’s what surprised me as well. They can do a lot with one movie, though. I’ve played the Lego Movie video game and they can add a bunch of new and awesome things.

Hopefully they humor is on-par with the original Lego Star wars, like the trailer suggests.

This looks like a lot of fun. But I don’t really play video games any more, so yeah…

XI means 11… I didn’t know they were making that many.

OH, do you mean VIII which means 8 or IX 9?

Will fix that.

Did anyone see that they said it would contain content between six and seven. So is Lego going to get a chance to create official cannon? I hope they continue the classic game where there is no people talking.

I’ve seen some screens and man, the graphics are still pretty bad. I’m honestly not buying another LEGO game until they make a change in their graphics engine or something. That trailer completely proved that there’s room to grow, but TT Games seems to be just tweaking their game engine just a little bit instead of actually committing to making a next gen worthy title.

If they use actual movie dialogue in this game, I’ll be very disappointed. The original Lego Star Wars Videogame was unique for it’s story-telling, For themes like LotR/The Hobbit, DC Heroes (despite Lego Batman 1 being void of it) and Marvel Heroes, I’ll agree to the idea of dialogue being present. But I’d LOVE to see this game implement the same mute character interactions that were kept in the previous 4 games.

But, after seeing @Kahi 's comment about graphics. I would like to point out that you are talking about a game in which you play as Plastic Toys. I don’t see how graphics should be that important.

Hey, did anyone know that the game’ll include pre-VII content?

I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about here.

Having been playing through The Complete Saga recently, I’m happy to see the playful Lego nature shining through the commercial. Hopefully that will transition into the games.
