Somewhat prefer using the square root
mainly because thats how I have been learning it.
I used to like math. Then I started Calculus 3. T.T
So, when planning for next year’s classes, I was recommended for Honors Algebra 2.
And I was like “Nope!” and put the normal Algebra 2.
So, I’ve been learning how to graph with the second derivative…
Yeah
I’m currently in Calc I, and I’ve taken to deriving random functions for fun.
e.g: y = (cos(12x-3))(e^(5x^2 +x))
y’ = e^(x-5x^2 +x)(-sin(12x-3))(12) + (cos(12x-3))(e^(5x^2 +x))(10x+1)
Integrate that baby
I’m glad you remembered!
I’m not ready for that!
So a friend of mine at church was wearing a ■■■■■ with mathematical symbols, that spelled out “I ate some pie.” (Would have included the original symbols but it’s kinda hard to type that out.
And that got me thinking about making more math-based coded phrases.
Maybe I’ll do that sometime.
Square root of -1 8 sigma pi?
Remind me what sigma looks like?
Yup, except the “8” was 2 to the 3rd power.
Looks at the topic title, runs the other way
In all seriousness Math is fine, but it’s not my thing, and i’m soooo glad i’m on my last Math class.
Math to me:
You get the idea; I’m no mathy person. I’m more the person you’d expect writing a novel, or editorial, rather than solve equations.
I can do math, but I don’t find it entertaining unless it’s working to an end. I’m that “needz mor applications” guy.
We’re doing Trigonometry right now. It’s a nice break from all the craziness we’ve been doing this year.
I’ve decided that I’m gonna take a trig class over the summer, and then take Calc next school year, because logic. It looks… interesting… ish… not at all.
