Hey y’all, I recently got on a matoran-building kick and wanted to show off a couple of the ones I made. They’re all in the style of the voyatoran because 1) the voyatoran are my favorite matoran build, 2) they’re the easiest to make a bunch of without all the right pieces, and 3) I was partially inspired by @Atobe_Brick ‘s moc, Wutok
First off, we got John Claws and Bilbo Baggins (I didn’t come up with real names for most of them). These two are pretty alright, but it took a while to figure out whether I wanted to use light blue for John or the sand blue that I eventually decided on.
Next up, we have Krekka Jr. and Jodu. Jr. is basically just the purple slizer with a silver arm, so not much to say there. Jodu, on the other hand, is one of my favorites of the batch as he’s one of my pretty old characters (and he finally has hands!) I’d like to imagine that this is him at some point in the past but honestly he looks more diminished in his original form.
After that is Dume’s nephew and sashimi. Not much to say about them.
Following those two, we have The Twins. I really like these guys as well. No idea what their lore is but they look kinda similar, hence the name.
Next we have the penultimate pair, Jimbrob and Voyo, another one of my old characters. Unlike Jodu, this is definitely supposed to be a prior version of him. No idea how he supposedly turns into a toa though.
Rounding out the bunch, we have Hewkii’s little brother and Guy 2. Guy 2 can either be a generic matoran or a version of @Winger 's unnamed(?) self moc, depending on if I want to look at my not very good paintjob on the mask.
As a little bonus, I made a version of the moc that inspired all these guys, Wutok. I didn’t have a lot of the keetorange parts that the original design used, so he’s a little more bland now.
