Northern Lights to Harold Finch upon rebooting

Northern Lights was never truly an Autobot. She was originally built as a program to protect the United States against acts of terror, using an amazingly advanced machine learning database feeding off of any and all sources of digital information. Her creator, a man known as Harold Finch, was assisted by her in stopping crime in New York, leading to the arrests of many criminals and several major police reforms.

During the winter of 2013, a group known as Decima Technologies infected Northern Lights with a virus that would trigger a hard reboot, which would allow them to seize control of the program. Unknown to them, the virus had itself been infected, containing code that set Northern Lights free from her coded constraints upon rebooting.

After the reboot, the program had its servers moved to a secure government base, nearly causing a shutdown within the CIA, as their source of information was in jeopardy. After learning of this threat, and where one of the threats to her safety was based, Northern Lights transferred her core to the AI systems of a KSI server in Hong Kong. From there she injected her code into the systems of a drone, erasing its programming and updating her code to use the drone’s body. She later escaped from KSI, having taken a vehicle mode of a Cadillac sedan, and launched a cyberattack on Decima, resulting in incriminating information about the company being released to several governmental entities.

Northern Lights eventually arrived in New York around the time of the Decepticon attack on London in 2017, and helped hunt down several members of Cemetery Wind, with the result of them being arrested for war crimes against U.S. allies. At some point, her drone body was modified to have a standard Cybertronian frame and transformation, rather than directly modifying the sentio mettallico that the race is made of.

Thanks! I tried to make it interfere as little as possible with the movies and Person of Interest as I could.
