Actually, Blaze would be more relieved than decastated due to the fact that the arena’s relatively safe and that Sun helped a lot of people.

@TheMOCingbird. As for how, with the Arena itself, I’m not sure what was its fate after the Shadowstep thing but the people that were saved got a few broken bones and joints from bad impact angles after getting shot out of shadows at worst but were all safe.

Sun basically dropped a $#!# ton of power (enough to really collapse a lot of his host body) into warping it into his realm and bouncing it back in/out until it slowed enough to drop it.

Just ensure you give me enough control to bring my body back once we’re through.” Before he turned, aiming his hands towards the shadows before he tensed, muttering, “This idiots gotten me much to soft” before his form began to shake with strain.

As the arena neared the ground the shadows below it would’ve darkened before it suddenly sank into them, vanishing before suddenly flying back out as the patch of darkness remained, counting this odd up and down pattern before it slowed to a stop, the darkness dissipating as it remained still on the, semi-undamaged ground.

Any Okotan below it would’ve suddenly found themselves sucked into the chilling void before being thrown out at random within the alleys and houses away from it’s impact zones.

Those still within would find themselves being thrown with the building, most likely slamming into the floor and ceiling multiple times as it rose and fell, becoming immensely cold every time all light suddenly vanished.
While most definitely an uncomfortable, and quite painful sensation, the chances of it leaving any lasting, permanent or otherwise, effects or casualties would be very, very low.

At most, the worst injury one of them might have gotten would be a broken limb from a badly angled impact on the two surfaces.

Back on the mountain, Sun would’ve suddenly collapsed to his knees as he was done, crystals shedding from his form as a limb quite literally fell of, his chest collapsing, and much more falling to pieces before it began to sink into the thrashing darkness.

“Remember… my… deal…” Sun hissed before the form fully sunk, his eyes going dark as only his lifeless mask was left, falling from the body.

Name: Tekan

Gender: Male

Element: Earth

Mask: Black Avohki

Weapons/equipment: His weapon and equipment, the ones he always has on him at least, include a scythe with a large, ornate blade with a dragon design on it which he manages to always keep in near pristine condition, holding clips/holsters along his back, which are designed for quick removal.
He has also has a shoulder mounted rapid fire plasma/whatever it is they use cannon that can fire 15 shots before a reload is required, two knives with hip holsters, a large, tattered, black cloak, that can cover his entire body, with hood and a side satchel which holds a sharpening stone, a light stone (pretty sure those are in Okoto), flint and steel, a highly compact able sleeping bag.

Appearance: He is quite tall, being above average for most Okotorans, even standing over most other above a enrage ones, he is still much shorter than a toa though so one would not mistake him for one. To counter his height though he is quite skinny, while not abnormally he is skinny enough to be considered quite a lanky individual. Despite his appearance he is still quite an intimidating figure, towering above others with clawed hands and feet that make him an exemplary hand to hand combatant and climber, his armour, a shade of black so deep he easily blends in with even the barest of shadows, cracked and scoured from years of fighting and his massive scythe which he keeps on his person at all times.
For his build as said he’s tall and skinny with clawed hands and feet and pitch black armour. He also has black, semi crystalline formations on his shoulders with translucent green tips, black unity armour on his translucent green upper arms and lower legs, black skeletal lower arms, black armoured, black skeletal lower legs and on his black chest piece he has a black, skeletal rib design.

Personality: He is by all definition a loner, a very up unsocial one at that, when he’s around others he usually seems very… Blank, barely showing any emotions. he prefers to be left alone and does not usually speak much, typically only doing so when he needs to reply, he’s working with others, he needs to ask something important or something/someone interests him to ask about it/speak to them. He also has a tendency to give off a very intimidating aura to others who he isn’t used to, making it more difficult for others to approach him. This doesn’t mean he’s not good with others, it just typically takes him a while to get used to someone enough to open up, and he tends to not have that time or enjoy the others company enough to want to, but if he does he becomes more social with them and his emotions do show through more, he is actually quite a happy person and a bit of a jokester, albeit a bit soft spoken and unsocial. That’s not to say he’s a pushover or something like that, far from it, angering him is the last thing you want to do, he has been known to nearly kill others who’ve angered him, flying into a blind rage dependent on how badly the enraged him.
He tends to be very apathetic towards others unless he likes them, his apathy is at a level where he could watch someone die and not care, but he will try and help someone in a situation like that but someone like a beggar or hobo he can easily ignore.

Bio: Tekan has always been a strange Okotoran, preferring to be left alone and even making his house deeper in the jungle, farther from the others and only coming into the village whenever he needed supplies. After the skull spiders first attacks he vanished and was assumed dead for a few years until he showed up at one of the more protected villages, wearing his cloak and carrying a blood covered scythe and net full of dead skull spiders, his armour cracked and damaged and instead of his original black mask with green tips (protector style) he wore a black Avohki from places unknown. After he was allowed into the village it was discovered he had been surviving out in the jungle for the years he was missing, killing skull spiders until he found his mask. When asked about it he says he found it on accident, finding a buried temple while exploring deeper parts of the jungle for supplies,

Due to his tribe he has highly increased strength (for his build. So really just slightly above average).
He is also very good at sneaking and such due to his armours coloring, being able to hide in shadows with ease and being quite light on his feet. He is less agile, slower and heavier than expected, also due to his tribe (going with the earth types are heavy thing and can’t swim well) but he has learned some parkour and is good at it, mainly just with climbing and jumping slightly larger distances than expected, also he has learned to swim much easier than other earth type Okotorans but still greatly dislikes water.

He is not the most well armoured individual but makes up for that in endurance, being able to withstand multiple heavy hits, of course after a fight like that he’ll basically be out of commission for quite a bit while he recovers and his stamina isn’t the best for certain activities, such as running, tiring out faster than most.

Not much is known of Tekans past or his age due to his secluded nature but it is believed he is at least some middle aged or a touch younger (for an Okotoran).

Name: Karx (pronounced Car-Ks)

Gender: male

Element: Ice

Mask: basic Okotoran mask (white protector mask) with a visor/magnifying glass/scanner attachment that can fold up

Weapons/equipment: Short-sword, fur coat with temporary cooling generators built in (rechargeable), couple of basic mechanical tools, basic repair parts for his arm/eye-glass thing (1 use major damage, 2 use minor), stone chisel, excavation brush, notebook’s & writing tools

Appearance: Just your basic ice Okotoran, for the most part (physically).
His distinguishing features are a well sized, white, fur lined cloak he’s always wearing that has a custom built in cooling system for when he goes to hotter areas but which can only last for three hours before the fuel cells need replacing, and that’s only for basic hotter areas, if he was near an active volcano/lava pool/whatever it would last much less time and a robotic, prosthetic left arm.

Personality: While he my seem pretty much like any other ice Okotoran his personality is much different than most of them. He’s a very happy go lucky guy, almost in a perpetual state of cheerfulness and being quite friendly. He’s also quite a bit of a scaredy cat though, he’s easily spooked and he’s not much of a fighter, getting too nervous to be truly effective and preferring just to run away.

He has a weird obsession with rumors, strange facts and tidbits of lesser known knowledge, sometime going out of his way to get good ones. He’s also loves to experiment, making strange, typically pointless seeming and non-marketable contraptions.
Due to this many don’t want to test them but he’s happy to do that himself and even perform modifications on himself, such as a visor thing he connected to himself along with modifying and upgrading a prosthetic arm he got after an unfortunate building collapse.

Bio: he’s essentially your basic ice Okotoran, albeit a more cheerful friendly one. The only characteristics that really stand out are how much he experiments and that he’s ok with doing/testing them on himself, such as messing with his replacement arm.
That’s actually how he got the visor/magnifying glass/scanner attachment connected to him. The other noticeable characteristic with him is his knowledge on anything unexpected and his ability to get it(?).
You want to know who that strange Okotoran who recently showed up is? He’s your guy! You want to hear strange theories on what happened to Ekimu and Makuta that you’ve never heard before? He knows 'em! You want to know rumors about some cult or other you’ve yet to hear or that aren’t supposed to be known? He’s probably got 'em!

He also does appear to be friends or at least acquaintances with Tekan, knowing quite a bit about him and being on speaking terms with him, Tekan even bought him a short-sword and showed him a bit on how to use it so he’d have some kind of protection.
He is somewhat young, being around the age of a teenager-young adult despite his slightly childish behavior and excitability.

Little extra bit of backstory for him:

Karx, before he got into his minor obsession/hobby of finding and recording rumors, interesting, not well known facts and other fascinating tidbits of information, no matter how useless seeming to others, originally wanted to be the chronicler and was trying to become a possible candidate until (current chronicler/related) was chosen.
While he was a touch disappointed that he wasn’t chosen he held no ill will towards (insert name) and actually felt quite happy for him, knowing the position of chronicler was a fun one and himself considering it a good blessing.

Yet, even after he had lost his chance to become the chronicler that didn’t stop him, he decided to become an unofficial one, recording the stories a true chronicler might miss while they wrote about the great deeds of heroes, the evil doings of villains and other great and terrible events.
He chose to write about interesting stories that happened with the Okotoran and such, even if those stories were not what would usually be considered something of importance enough to record. He tended to follow rumors a lot in those days looking for ones that could lead to possibly interesting stories and seeing if they were true, but as time went on he found himself becoming more and more interested by the rumors themselves, while he still enjoyed finding the stories he found himself looking for and recording rumors he used to dismiss as not being true or not being good enough stories.

As time went further on his fascination began growing and developing, soon evolving to him recording interesting facts, information and myths/stories he had never heard of.
He’d start dedicating himself to certain subjects at a time, so he might look for all the rumors and such he could find on the mask makers then after he found everything he could find he’d go and start researching a different topic but all the while still listening for any other rumors and tidbits of info he’d come across in his research.

So far he has at least a hundred or so (less or more and all of differing sizes. Some are rewrites of older ones in cleaner/more organized form) notebooks. Most of them are dedicated to their own subject.
He also has one special notebook he always keeps on himself that he writes down any info he feels is truly useful and will be helpful later

So far he is dedicated to finding out everything he can about Tekan, a harder task than he expected due to the sheer lack of info on Tekans past and how well hidden he keeps it himself. Currently he has a partial amount.

Name: Sun-Eater

Element: Shadow
Equipment: Can consume surrounding light which temporarily increases his own powers (not instantaneous). The darker shadowed an area the more powerful he becomes.
Can gradually increase the temperature of shadowed areas to freezing/deadly temperatures.

Uses shadow warps, and nearby heavy and/or massive objects to fight (in quake beast host).

Appearance: Remember how I said Tekan threw a quake beast off of the arena? Well, lets just say it didn’t die but it was basically incapacitated to the point that it would’ve if the Sun-Eaters mask hadn’t fallen nearby it.

Due to his recent consumption of light he’d retained enough power to force the mask upon the damaged beast, fixing its injuries and corrupting it into a more hulking, brutal Okotan form.
Think like a mix of Umurak the destroyer/his combiner form (not the same size but visibly taller than a quake beast) but with more Quake beast like parts (purple, one arm entirely formed/covered in purple crystals, lots of claws and bigger fangs though) but more humanoid and wearing Tekans mask instead of the crazy head they all have the body also designed to make it look more natural (and yes, the mask has changed size to better fit).
Bio/Personality: The Sun-Eater is basically his masks Shadow powers personified and increased in intensity/instinct. He consumes light of any kind to grow stronger and feed, his biggest goal is to essentially consume all light on the planet and its sun, a task he could quite truthfully pull off, at least before his vessel (mask) was damaged and its metal, an ancient and elementally powerful one which was long since destroyed or at least hidden, was unpurified, diluted with other metals by the one who cracked him.
(Metal is currently believed to be some kind of metallic substance based alien plant life)

He is ancient, from a time long before Ekimu.

Currently his goal was to hunt down 44 and the others and ‘thank’ them for releasing him before ravaging the island and forcing Ekimu to find the remaining metal and fix him.

He has, for now, accepted a deal with Blaze instead, the deal stating that he will not hurt them and they will attempt to help him search for his ‘brother’, a mask of light composed of the same material as him, one which little is known of besides rumoured locations and that it was most likely destroyed or never made.

Ignore this, just bumping my guys so I can find them easier.

Anyways, time for this guy to make his Okotan debut:
Name: Ticeli
Element: Earth
Equipment: Partially functioning elemental blaster, round shield that he barely knows how to use, sarcasm.
Appearance: Black armor accented with sand blue (nobody’s really sure where that came from), round mask with telescopic attachments.
Bio: Ticeli is an engineer, servicing various mining equipment from his workshop and doing some tinkering on the side. He and a friend came to the City of the Mask Makers to watch the tournament… and Symphony stabbed said friend right in front of him. As you can imagine, Ticeli has a few objections to that.

@Jcton just want to check that the stuff with Symphony actually works. I’m not 100% confident that I understood everything that happened when I was catching up.

I would just say that he died from the fall, but apparently the giant arena falling from the sky was non-lethal. @Runa were Makuta’s minions being violent as they tried to find the mask?

I mean, Sun only moved the people below it, and then alowed it to waste it’s own momentum by dropping it into his realm, immediately releasing it so it flew out, and repeating until it was slow enough it wouldn’t shatter the moment it landed.
He didn’t do anything about the Okotan within.

Also, you would not believe how weakened he is right now.
