Simple answer: yes
Long answer: You may however if you want to incorporate it with other peoples narratives it may be wise too discuss it with them first. Like wise if you want your backstory to “affect”/be conected to the overarching narrative contacting DMs should be neccessary.

Bio/Personality: One of six adventurers Ekimu summoned to search out the golden masks three years prior, Lync has seen her share of adventure. Independent and quick-witted, she often dives head-first into trouble and figures out a plan as she goes.

I’d like to add to this as a senor player. The sheet wasn’t binding per say in the previous three games but it had some things that were binding, I’m a witness of overstepping that binding with one of my characters so I speak from experience in that regards. Now this rp might handle things differently but in the previous three rps you couldn’t change your power level or abilities from your sheet nor would you be allowed to exploit said abilities or power levels in a game breaking way.

So I guess I should specify: when I read “embellish” I interpreted that as meaning “expand on the existing character sheet to add more details”. Things such as plot-relevant details, powers, etc should be stated outright, either in the profile or in private.

In the past we’ve set a precedent of having any secrets be run past GMs in a PM. Secret from the other players, but not from the GMs. Again, though, that’s ultimately for Traykar to decide.

Guess I can re-enter hoari while I’m here.

Give me a minute and I’ll summarize what he did.

Name: Hoari

Age: 23

Element: sound (self proclaimed)

Equipment: cutlass, scarf, backpack, journal (including entry’s from his earliest recorded Ancestor ) a backpack with at least 200 pencils. Various trinkets in his bag, these include: various empty vials, an elemental crystal of ice given to him by his parents as a gift (he hates it. But keeps it on hand because it could be useful.) a letter from his fiancée

Appearance: dark gray, yellow and silver armor, modified grey protector mask with yellow markings an engangment chain attached to his left ear, almost always has a scarf wrapped around his neck. Scabbard on his left hip. A canteen of berry juice that he made( Hoari adds various nutritional additives to the berry juice, it tastes horrible.)

Bio:Where we last left off Hoari had joined up with a group of two other Okotans; Jasper and Ilza after an encounter with the soil in a library… and that’s actually pretty much all he did.

Personality: in spite of his upbringing Hoari despises being the center of attention when he’s put on the spot he will quickly act to ■■■■■ the focus to something else. He loves discovering new things, likes to think things through before proceeding with a dangerous situation but this can often lead him to overthinking and complicate things further, can sometimes pay too much attention to his surroundings this sometimes makes him distracted to the people talking to him, loves a good joke, doesn’t like talking unless he’s comfortable with the people he’s around, enjoys collecting new trinkets. Will sometimes pull out a scratchpad and draw something he will sometimes pull a book out of his backpack and read a chapter aloud from it if he’s not busy. Hoari can act self entitled at times though over the years he has taught himself to avoid acting like this

Name: Chook ( his real name is Chasevooseus, but most call him Chook)
Element: Jungle
Appearance: Lots of plants scattered around his armor (grass, flowers, etc.). Chook has green/yellow eyes, and has some rust on his armor.

Equiptment: Chook has a backpack with a slingshot and some rocks in it, and a book on the creatures of okoto.
Personality: Chook is a childish, bouncy character, who sometimes randomly jumps into conversations, even if he doesn’t know what they are talking about. He can be serious when he needs to be, but it’s hard to know when he thinks he needs to be serious. Though Chook could use some more teaching, he always has good intentions, and never wants anyone to get hurt.
Bio: Chook was born an ordinary Okotan, and stayed that way for a while, until one day, when he snuck out of the village to escape whatever task he was assigned to do that day, he found a very young okotan lost in the woods, and brought her back to the village, deemed a hero. Even though finding the young okotan was a mere accident, and he had snuck out the village when it happened, he was sort of a mini-celebrity. For about a week. After all the commotion died down, Chook resumed his ordinary life

Chook got like no time at all so I hope this is ok.

Basically here’s the tea, sometime after the first topic ended, Rainsong, Runa, and I discussed having a continuation of the rp run by me. ( Maybe not the best idea, but we’ll see how it goes from here ) So what does this entail for you? seeing as though this is a continuation of the past dm’s stories, you won’t have to renter any of your older characters. What you will have to do is give me a brief description of who they are, and what their role in the past rps were, just so that I can better cater the story towards the playerbase. New characters will have to be entered using the provided template below, (Taken from Rainsong of course)

Name: Pheore Huika Anuro
Element : Fire
Equipment : A pair of single-edged swords. that look suspiciously like the ones Jevis uses… They’ve seen better days, but Pheore always keeps them sharp.
Appearance : Pheore’s red and white armor is scratched and worn from years of use.
Bio/Personality : Pheore’s story is a long one, and I won’t go into it all here. She’s learned a lot over the years, but hasn’t quite been able to get over her past. After the events with Makuta blew over she went back to what she was doing before, working for whoever would hire her.

Element : Jungle
Equipment : A well-worn satchel filled with pockets of medicines and herbs, including a well-kept obsidian scalpel.
Appearance : His armor is trans blue and dark green, with very minor scarring and scuffing. His mask is of the standard design, just in his colors.
Bio/Personality : Tathel is a healer, with the gentle and compassionate soul one might expect from such a profession. He is well known is his local area, as he often travels his local area to provide his services to villagers in the comfort of their home. A few years back he encountered the Mini-Mayhem Azure and helped to introduce her to Okoto, but aside from that he has little to do with the island-shaking events that occurred.

Name: Jaspar
Element : Stone
Equipment : A staff of hardened wood that serves dual purpose as a walking stick and as a weapon of self-defense, a length of rope, an old knapsack filled with a series of bound journals filled with notes, sketches, and maps documenting his travels.
Appearance : Jaspar stands at about average height with a lanky build and narrow shoulders, covered in orange and tan armor that has been worn by years of travel. His mask is of an ancient design, resembling a simplified Mask of Earth, and seems even more rough-hewn than the rest of his armor.
Bio/Personality : Jaspar has always been the curious sort, and little seems to keep him from wandering off on his latest quest for knowledge. He is a self-proclaimed cartographer and archaeologist, and is always happy to lend his knowledge to the curious or those simply looking for a good way across the island. Three years ago he joined the group of Ekimu’s adventurers, looking to help his friends and making new friends along the way. Since Makuta’s defeat he has been travelling the island with Lync, though the purpose of their excursions is unknown.

Element: Earth
Equipment: Risa carries a pair of knives, weighted for throwing, but is more notorious for another weapon: a pair of shears, between the length of a dagger and short sword in length. She’s trained herself to wield them dexterously, flicking and slashing them about with one hand while somehow managing to not cut herself.
Appearance: Risa is thin and athletic, and wears black and grey armor. Her mask resembles those worn by skull scorpios and skull basher.
Bio/Personality: Risa is cheerful and daring, unflinching even against daunting odds. As the stories go, she cheated death years prior, and after managing to evade even the reaper itself nothing fazes her anymore. For most of her adult life she has worked as a mercenary, offering a blade for a price - or a good laugh, she isn’t picky.

I’ve been playing too much D&D
