Having nothing better to do Azure starts searching for the direction of the city as well

Streke sighs as the flew. “Where would he even go?” He wondered aloud.
“Possibly with that Blaze fellow…”

Creath frowned and looked at the other people in the library. “Uh.”
He glanced back at the Soil, thoroughly unnerved. “What should we do?”

Seeing that Bramble was helping row, Vra’axinni simply sat in the middle of the boat, so as to not unbalance the boat.

“Yeah.” Keya affirms. “Only split up if you actually can’t keep up.”

Tarkur reacted when he heard the name, “You mean Ekimu’s apprentice?” Tarkur asks being familiar with who Streke might be talking about.

“Y-yeah, I think so.” Streke rubbed his chin.
“I think that’s who he left with, I think Ekimu said Blaze left the city.”

“Did he say something else about where he was going?” Tarkur replies, while still looking for a village

“Not that I can remember. Where do you think they’d go?”

“Not sure, have heard that Blaze is the adventureus type of guy, a wild guess would be that they went to the crater but they could have also gone into the mountain ranges.” Tarkur ponders, still searching for a village.

“I’m sorry, I wouldn’t have done that if I had known how much you hate snow.” Apologized Twenty Three, misreading the situation.

“The crater, eh? Should we check there?”

Do not comment. Do not look. Do not breathe.

The Lord of the Undying Storm didn’t even want to think about Twenty Three existing. Which was hard, since that was all he could think about right now.

“Okay, now just pay attention to me a-and try and row with me, okay? Start… now.” The last word is strained as Tathel pulls back on the oar, glancing over to see how Bramble is doing.

Jaspar glances over his shoulder, motioning for Creath to join them. Thankfully, this section of the library seems to be far better organized, even including labels. Finding a book about the city shouldn’t be too hard, now.

Ekimu heaves a heavy sigh, shaking his head. “Come. We have a long way ahead of us yet.” The mountains of the Region of Ice loom ahead of them, as if punctuating his words.

“So let’s get on with it,” Vohman grumbles.

Seeing Tathel throw his weight on the oar, Bramble heartily tugged with enough strength to - depending on the leverage - snap it in half.

The Lord of the Undying Storm looked up at the mountains. They were his home, his domain. Monuments of ice were constructed for him and dashed away when he found them dissatisfying. The climb to the top must’ve been made a hundred times by him to ensure the weak little Okotans could make it to pay tribute, if only barely. He could overlook the entire region from his frozen kingdom; all of Okoto was his to survey.

So why did they feel so… Ominous?

Gladius hefted the shield once more, mostly to remind himself he was holding a shield, and started out in the general direction of the city of jungle.

“If any of you hear anything- Anything,” He whirled back around to face the group with a dramatic pause. “Don’t keep it to yourself.”

He returned his attention to the path he would have to make by lopping tree limbs and stepping on fallen trunks, trying to determine that fine line between cheesy and inspiring. At my age it shouldn’t be THAT hard.

She continues travelling in the general direction the group were travelling. Virky didn’t exactly know which way they have gone so it was a lot of back and forth and experimenting but after a little while she find a day or 2 old campfire. It was burnt out of course but the ashes and rock formation was left.

Jevis continued to follow the group, trailing toward the end and keeping quiet.

“What kind of unearthly thing-?” He asked.

“L-let’s… just… not think about it.” Ilza muttered stiffly, facing deliberately away from… whatever that was over there and instead marvelling at the slight sense of organization over here, “You’d think in a city like this, labels wouldn’t be such a treasure…” She remarked, starting to hunt through the shelves for anything relating to the city’s past.

“Hah, you said it.” He chuckles, shaking his head. “What a library we found.”

“She’s right, we should probably just avoid it,” Jaspar says over his shoulder. “He doesn’t seem violent, just… disgusting. So we keep our distance, don’t antagonize him, and report him to the guard in the morning.” He leafs through the shelves, seeing what he can find.

The oar doesn’t snap, but it does groan omnously. Of course, Tathel hardly notices that as he’s too busy trying to keep the boat from going in circles. “W-well, I appreciate the enthusiasm, but maybe not quite so hard? A l-little lighter on the next one, okay?” He rows frantically, and the boat spins around the other direction, overcorrecting.

Hearing no complaints, Ekimu leads the way up the mountainside. Their trail takes them to a lower past, closer to the shore than the island’s center. The path seems undisturbed, deep snow and thick ice making the trek into a slog.

“Sounds good to me,” Vohman says, following along. He sticks near the back with Jevis, walking side-by-side with the newcomer.

“Speaking of finding things…” Ilza grinned, holding up a historical encyclopaedia on the city which proudly proclaimed that it included the Toa’s reclamation and restoration.
