Orde the Exhumed

Design lore:

I wanted Orde to look like an ancient warrior in more of a real life sense. One who had aged poorly over time or even looked reanimated. I chose sand blue to represent blue “skin” that had faded over time, turaga rubber bands to make a damaged eye, an asteroid/geode mace using Pohatu’s boulder piece, pin fingers like Lewa, gear and piston textures, etc.

KhingK’s inorganic Suletu was chosen because Orde had anger issues, I chose a mask with a very angry expression so the character wears his past. His design was also inspired by the Dragon Priests and ‘Hulking Draugr’ enemy types from Skyrim.

It’s not uncommon for armor sets to use more than one material so the gunmetal inika torso is some kind of cheaper metal or leather armor in this context.

Lastly, I believe it would’ve taken away from the uniqueness of Helryx if Orde was the same style of “disturbingly frail” so I made him buff.

I really like the colour choice; Sand Blue is a pretty uncommon colour, and it goes well with the gold. The damaged eye is also a really creative choice, and it’s executed well here.

The technique with the rubber band over the eye is pure genius.
