Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon

Easy

They can give them all the extra typing of fairy and make a new ability that makes all their moves fairy and [Insert starter type here] typed.

It’s a great and full-proof plan

But the mono type thing is part of their charm, I feel

I feel like it makes them unique, defensively, compared to other starters, who feel obligated to have a second type nowadays

And like

what second type would even work with Typhlosion?

I mean, Feraligatr I could see becoming Dragon

and Meganium maybe fairy?

but Typhlosion just seems kinda without a place to go.

possibly Ground

Typhlosion is the Volcano Pokemon. Fire/Ground or Fire/Rock would work with him. I personally want Fire/Rock, because resistance, although that’d put him at a painful 4x weakness to ground.

Since Badgers are nocturnal, Dark could work.

My problem with Fire/Rock and Fire/Ground is that those open up like

a floodgate of extra weaknesses

You lose Grass resistance for both, you lose Ice resistance

plus you get a fighting weakness for rock, and you lose steel resistance.

I’d hardly call that getting flustered and insecure. I don’t know how you are getting that, internet text doesn’t properly convey emotion.

I say that because I feel the two canons get mixed way too often and we can all agree they are very differemt. I won’t deny that there isn’t tie ins, but these two canons should generally remain separate.

You can speculate, I’m just saying what I think.

I like Mega Evolutions as much as the next guy, but I think keeping the number low and then slowly building it up over the generations is a good idea. It keeps the hype going, and makes the Pokemon that can mega evolve feel special.

I don’t trust these leaks.
At all.

I’m not sure if any of you know this, but a little while back a new Pokemon was shown, kind of ish.

The Corocoro verison of the Sun and Moon trailer showcased the trainer walking out of their house, and as they’re running you can see an npc and his Pokemon. This new Pokemon is dog-like, but a lot of people seem to think its based off of an Akita/Shibu Inu. I have to say, if that’s true, I’m all in.

We’ve had a doge pokemon since Generation 1

If the doge pokemon is truly doge, then I might have to eat some ice cream which was stored in my orange refrigerator while I take out my garbage bag. Perhaps later I can buy some perfume from the girl who likes birds, next to the place where they sell orange washing machines and ovens.

But in all seriousness, please let this be a thing.

I wonder how battles will appear on S/M. Seeing as the ‘circles’ around the Pokemon are gone, it might look weird if they are standing on the water.

because standing on differently colored water was so much better?

Well… yeah. It’s not good by any means, but it’s at least something. I hope they use some kind of float or something.

EDIT: Amazon confirmed multiple islands in Alola:

I know it couldn’t have been just the one island, but thank good golly gosh that there actually are multiple islands.

What’s everyone’s predictions on tomorrow’s announcement?
