really?
in my experience, good fire types tend to be pretty hard to get early on
like, in HGSS, there’s really only Arcanine in HG before Morty’s gym
and don’t even get me started on the Sinnohdex or the Hoenndex.

The game world does look really large
I am very excited
I tend to lean towards the “blue”-esque games of each gen (Diamond, X, ASaphire, etc.) so in that aspect I’m probably going Moon. However, for the first time ever, I am leaning more towards grass starter Rowlet. I’ve almost always gone for the water starter first.

I really like the sun legendary tho
I have this affinity for things that fly without feathers.
Well I don’t like the design for the new starter Pokemon but I’m going to go with litten and I’m going to get sun version.

Well I do have reasons
since Rayqauza is the Straight guy of the Hoen Legendaries
and Giratina got the most 3D treatment before everyone else
Kyruem has the Asymmetry and Fused with the others
and Zygarde grows up to be a Gundam
Even if you always like the third one the most
there’s still a hierarchy
between the first two
there still has to be one you like more than the other.
also, the third ones are always built up to be intentionally cooler than the other two
it’s so you’ll waste your money and buy the third version of a game you bought two years ago.
