Possible Live-Action Pokémon Movie

I hope you’re not suggesting the pokemon wouldn’t be CGI?

This is a gamble.
But Not in the company’s favor.

Video games always translate well to live-action movies. Right? RIGHT?!

If anything, I’d love a live-action Pokemon movie to look kinda like this.

for some reason i dont think this is gonna work out that well

Never have I wanted something less in my entire life.

If the Pokemon looked like that, but fit the world better, then it might work.

Oh no doubt.

And the Pokemon would have to look a tiny bit more realistic, but not by much. Just add textures.

I could see it working, as long as they just adapt the original rather than trying to change things to appeal to different markets. Honestly all they need to do is remake Pokémon 3 in live-action using virtually the same plotline and developments and it’d be perfect.

I wouldn’t be a fan of THAT realism, but something like how the current Pokemon look but have more texture.

The ideal Pokémon designs they should go for should be instantly recogniseable - even if they are not that realistic. I mean, we have talking rock’s with arms such as Geodude. The main thing is getting the likeness such as these;

To make the movie work you need to be able to look at a Pokémon and instantly accept it as being a Pokémon.

I’m getting hideous flashbacks…

Hey, maybe this could do a crossover with the emoji movie /s

Only if its Red and not Ash. And if the Pokemon are realistic looking instead of CGI Anime looking.

Why?!

Pokemon aren’t realistic to begin with? NONE of it is?

(Plus I kinda hate the realistic look.)

Several movies have tried to do the whole “make a cartoon realistic” thing. It doesn’t work.

They are real life animals mixed and matched into overpowerd animals with elemental powers…sad thing is that its over-anime-ished.

If they do a live-action movie, this is the only way. Now if they do a CGI movie, thats different.

Megan Fox as Misty.
