Whose that Pokemon!?

Well I mean literally the movie doesn’t even need Ash it can have its own original character. You can literally replace any character in Pokemon and still have the same premise. Of a professor sending some kid out to look for Pokemon.

But, but, Ash is such an important, deep character and in hearts of kids worldwide…nah, but its his pikachu though.

I said this once and I’ll say it again:
Live Action Anime is never a good idea.

It’s not like I needed sleep or anything like that, no.

No you should be writing names.

And taking potato chips.

And eating them.

Two things:

  1. It would most likely help out the movie exponentially if the plot wasn’t the same as the games, which is some kid gets sent out to catch them all, beat the evil team, yada-yada. I feel as if this is what brings down most video-game movies. How about something that deviates from the normal plot?
Why not something along the lines of Pokemon:Ranger or focusing on the backstory of someone like N? Or hell, even go for a Mystery Dungeon style film, that could be prefect if done correctly.
  2. The Pokemon do not have to look the same as they do in the anime or games, as previous people have stated. If you want a good example of realistic Pokemon that would instantly be recognizable to anyone, look at Arvalis or catandcrown on DeviantArt. Their depictions of realistic Pokes would be nearly perfect for a live-action film setting.
