Random MOCs and stuff

Hello, newbie here.

Just letting I have to join this site because I’m pretty much in a small (sometimes-but-always kind of) Discord mood by a couple yesterdays ago (specially today/daily and/or tonight/nightly) because I was going to in join some servers/channels involving someone I liked there.

My guess could be (under the name of) Sokoda (sokoda7), that I know of from long ago.

Though I couldn’t find any, so I decided to join this site (The TTV Channel) to see if I can share some things.

Example: Random stuff, especially MOCs of some kind (like Starcraft/SC1, Warcraft1&2, X-COM, DukeNukem, etc.)

sidenote:
I only share/post a little bit of it/that (the MOCs), not a lot (meaning too much) probably.

edit/update 11/21/2025:

About to sharing my SC1 (as LEGO stuff) + some custom units included on/to the OP post from last weeks ago.
So that I might be comfortable leaving them posted here other than the replies here apparently. :man_shrugging:

Hi there! Those figures look quite cool. I like the use of helmets and hoods as shoulder armor, I’ve never seen that technique before.

Welcome to the Boards.

These images are formatted like a lot of old mocpages content and that makes me very weirdly nostalgic :relieved:
I don’t know anything about Warcraft, so I assume these are all pretty accurate to the source material, although seeing minifigure heads on bodies with such thin forearms is a little unnerving.

Late thanks for the likes and late messages, people.
I might post more (different) things (other than WC1 or WC2, since the thing/title says Random MOCs and stuff) on this thread hopefully as later eventually.

I was going to first respond via multi-quoting any of your messages (like ones mentioning some stuff) for today/tonight or tomorrow;
Though-but-therefore chain/multi-quoting and replaying any of these could be tough-but-difficult to do-and/or-handle unless you and I are on a forum site (like this one = TTV) other than chat sites like Discord can or could.

If so, I’ll might as well practice replying unless drafting via the help of notepads or other could help me replying out out thankfully.

EDIT/UPDATE (11/15/2025) = QUOTING LAST TIME AGO’S MESSAGES NOW

Yeah I noticed, I used to miss visiting MOCpages without the need of an account to browse in long ago.
Probably since early, mid or late 2010s possibly.

I used to browse around Alien Conquest and Galaxy Squad and non-AC/non-GS stuff there.
Specially cool to really-but-very cool stuff there unless it could Human/ADU or Alien (UFO or Insectoid/Buggoid) ones kind of.

Hmm…
If I hardly recall-but-also-remember correctly; When I started the SC1 + custom unit stuff on Stud-io before the WC1 stuff as MOCs,
some guy whose mocs including some (mini)figure designs (as an act of reference) inspired me to do all that, especially the custom units including SC1-ified SC2 stuff (also Marauders, Reapers, Spectres, etc.)
under the name of magurean.paul on rebrickable.
Check him out though, I hope you might like him and some other folks similar to him or other than him thankfully.

Speaking of Warcraft (also Warcraft1)…
You guys wanna see terrific that I was doing with WC1 before WC2 long ago.

I am about to doing some sort of modding with WC1 under the use of a (2-to-almost-3 decades kind of) old modding engine by the name Stratagus (also on the War1gu/WC1s version of it) via the uses of LUA coding on Notepad++.
Though I am also working on a test map for it with some sort mission objectives that might also make and turn WC1 (might also include WC2 and SC1) into more of a hybridized-genre game (might also include real-tactics and stealth-based kind of feels to it),
but although-but-therefore I also might recommend custom spriting and imaging (drawing sprites and images) for most parts (including buttons and stuff) because mods need custom-made sprites actually drawn and made on 2D-sprite/image manipulation application.
Such-as-Example: paint-dot-not, or anything that might correct team coloring; unless its also GIMP or Aeseprite/Libresprite more practically.
