Rukah's Moc Topic!

Ok, this is how far back the leg can go maximum:

It still doesn’t look great though, if you’re set on filling in that space it’d probably work better to use a singular solid piece, probably something smooth surfaced and not just a backwards panel or brick

I agree. I think this piece would work much better with the existing shaping of the Inika shin:

But I like the little details

Side note: The Toa Setras are based on Serti and Vedra, because they were pretty much the only Toa on Irusia.

Edit:
also, I made some renders:

Rukah looks so much better now that the torso is actually good

alright here’s some more reviews

Vedra: Pretty nice overall, though I do vastly prefer the noble Matatu of his Turaga form. The colour balance is much better, and I just prefer the mask.

Ohira: Very well done, certainly your best female Moc. She really benefits from smoother shoulders, as they flow better than the pointed lumps extending from the biceps many of your other Mocs have which makes them look very hunched. This isn’t an issue for the male characters, but Casua does suffer a bit.

Casua: Widened shoulders are good, she’s still really lanky. Not sure if that’s what you were going for or not, but she looks almost unhealthy.

Dektra: Pretty good. Fairly boring colours, but I like the shield. Do keep in mind that the mask is trans black, though. It’s much darker in person than it is in these renders, so I’m not sure how well it’d match with the dark grey.

yay! also you forgot Letarin

yeah I agree. the noble Matatu works a lot better for him, and it definitely improves the color spread

Why thank you

ehhh
I mean she’s sort of supposed to be an agile female character but yeah she remains my least favorite of the Toa Cordrus.

True. That’s also why I included other trans-black parts in the build as small details. Also yes the color scheme is kinda boring but that’s about all you can do with a Toa of Sonics.

Just did a comparison myself. It’s not as bad as I expected, but I’d still recommend adding a few more trans-black parts on to balance it out.

Ah. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

Also, I finished Letarin’s lore dump:

Letarin

This guy is the Toa Setras of Air. Letarin’s Mask of Quick Travel, the Kualsi, allows him to instantly teleport anywhere within his range of sight. He can teleport through windows and other clear barriers, but not through solid walls as he cannot see his destination. He also is unable to teleport through energy fields. His Toa Tool is the Cyclone Staff, which, true to its name, allows him to channel his air powers through it to create strong winds and breezes. The staff can split in half to become a pair of Cyclone Blades, which Letarin uses when he needs to dual-wield. He is equally skilled at using the weapon in both configurations, though he prefers to use the Cyclone Blades when he is faced with multiple enemies at once. He prefers to use the Cyclone Staff when he needs a larger weapon with longer reach. Letarin is a Toa of Air, and as such he can manipulate winds and create gusts of air. His favorite move is to create a mini-cyclone around an enemy to throw them off balance, or to create high winds to blow opponents back. He can also make a vacuum, although he rarely does this. Like most Toa of Air, Letarin is very adventurous, curious, and prone to rushing into things without thinking them through. Despite this, he is very loyal to his fellow Toa. Like Ohira, he is very upbeat and lively most of the time. Unlike her, he is much more irresponsible. He also likes to tell jokes to keep the mood light. Like the other members of the Toa Setaras, Letarin lived in Irusia. There, he was a chronicler, going around the island and recording events of importance. The job appealed to his sense of adventure. Also like the others, Serti came to him one day and gave him a cryptic warning that his home was in danger, and handed him a Toa Stone. Letarin and the other five Matoran went to the Irusian suva, and, after activating the Toa Stones, became the Toa Setras. Serti became a Turaga, and him and Toa Vedra came to the new Toa and told them that they needed to flee Irusia. They did so, narrowly escaping being captured in the invasion of their home. After they left, Serti and Vedra began training the new Toa in combat and how to use their powers. The group wandered, generally heading north while stopping bad guys and protecting innocents along the way. Eventually, they met up with the Toa Cordrus and the four Irusians, and after introductions were made they joined forces. The combined group then began heading back south to take back Irusia, and they made battle plans. The two Turaga also started training the Toa Cordrus as well.

GIGANTIC LORE DUMP

Ok, be prepared for a lot of reading, as I have finally finished updating all characters’ lore dumps!

Story:

"The Heart of Irusia"

“The Heart of Irusia”
On the island of Irusia, a Toa of Plasma named Vedra has a vision of the island being invaded and the inhabitants captured by hostile forces. He tells his friend Serti, a Toa of Magnetism, about his vision and the two decide they must act quickly. They travel across Irusia, trying to warn the Irusians that something bad was about to happen and that they needed to prepare, but almost all of them laugh it off and denounce Vedra as finally having gone senile. Serti isn’t discouraged, however, and he tells Vedra that they should make more Toa in an attempt to stop or defend against the invasion. Both Toa made a set of six Toa Stones, and Serti quickly picked out his Matoran, transforming Ohira, Dektra, Letarin, Kerik, Trevinas, and Castan into the Toa Setras while he became a Turaga. Vedra was having a bit more trouble, as he was unable to find Matoran that he thought would make good Toa. Dekan, an Irusian blacksmith, came across the despairing Toa of Plasma and asked what was troubling him. Vedra told him about a vision he had received while he was asleep and told him that he intended to make more Toa. Dekan considered this, then told him about a secret teleportation device which had been planted on Irusia in ancient times, and that the smith had been told that it was to be used to create Toa in times of turmoil. Dekan showed Vedra where the device was, but by then the invasion had begun. Dekan told the Toa and his apprentice, Rukah, to flee, which they did, although Rukah did so reluctantly as he did not want to leave his mentor behind. Dekan then activated the device and it teleported Vedra’s Toa Stones to their destination, a hidden suva on the Southern Continent. It also activated a signal, which called six Matoran there. The leader of the attacking force was revealed to be Makuta Xianos, and Rukah clashed with his former friend Vakras, who was now under Xianos’ control. Rukah managed to get away, though not before being wounded by Vakras. The elected leader of the island, Karusa, managed to escape with Whari. Dekan, however, was not so lucky. After the teleportation device completed its job, he attempted to warn others about the invasion, but was captured by Xianos’ forces before he could do so. The smith was forced to forge Vakras’ scythe by the Makuta, and Dekan was also forced to make the blades out of Irusian crystals. Later on, Dekan was able to escape his captivity with the help of Karusa and Whari, who had come back for the blacksmith. Meanwhile, the six Matoran who were called to the Southern Continent, Gradus, Kavrin, Rutar, Casua, Akaru, and Toiah, became the Toa Cordrus and Vedra transformed into a Turaga. Vedra, Serti, and the Toa Setras had also managed to escape Irusia. The pair of Turaga also started training the new Toa. Shortly after the Toa Cordrus became Toa, they met the Irusian Rukah, who had fled there after the invasion. He pleaded for them to help him, and the group unanimously decided to do so, and they started heading back towards Irusia. Along the way, the group of seven ran into Dekan, Whari, and Karusa. After a joyful reunion between Rukah and Dekan, the two groups joined forces. As they continued their quest, the group of ten then ran into the two Turaga and the six Toa Setras. They soon introduced themselves, and the group swiftly became a force of twelve Toa, four Irusians, and two Turaga. Serti and Vedra, now Turaga, started teaching the Toa Cordrus as well as the Toa Setras on battle techniques, tactics, and how to use their elemental and mask powers. Dekan also taught Rukah what little he could while on the go, as Rukah’s apprenticeship was not yet complete either. As the group of eighteen headed for Irusia, they started making plans on how to take the island back from Xianos’ forces.

Characters:

Toa Cordrus

The Toa Cordrus are a relatively new and inexperienced team of Toa. They were mysteriously called together on the Southern Continent as Matoran, and then they became Toa through six Toa Stones at their meeting places’ suva. These Toa Stones were made by Vedra, and they were teleported there by Dekan. After the stones’ power turned them into Toa, Vedra became a Turaga as his destiny was fulfilled. They hope to become more of a team in time. The members are: Gradus, Kavrin, Rutar, Casua, Akaru, and Toiah. They protect Matoran and other innocents, and are currently on a mission with Rukah, Dekan, Whari, and Karusa, Serti, Vedra, and the Toa Setras to take back Irusia. The Toa Cordrus’ creation is parallel to the Toa Setras’.

Gradus

Toa of Gravity and leader of the Toa Cordrus. His Kanohi is the Pakari, the Mask of Strength. It allows him to increase his strength to an extremely high level. His particular mask is not shaped like a regular Pakari, but the reason for this is unknown. His Toa Tool is the Gravity Hammer, which he often uses in conjunction with his gravity powers. He specializes in very heavy blows by increasing the weight of the hammer. He can also decrease its weight so that it is easier to maneuver in battle. Being a Toa of Gravity, Gradus can create and control gravitic forces. He is very creative in using his powers, often using them to end fights in minutes by making his enemies too heavy to stand, or just erasing gravity on them altogether. Weight is irrelevant to him. However, he always follows the Toa Code, and never kills his opponents unless he has no other choice. His personality is easy enough to get along with, though he takes no nonsense from his fellow Toa. He also has a bit of a temper so don’t get him angry. Gradus tries very hard to be a leader, and as a result has a strong sense of duty. In battle, he is very creative and almost never gives up. He also is very much a hero and tries to protect innocents at any cost. This is potentially a weakness however, as he may get exhausted trying to do so. Gradus is also very proactive, and his constant attempts to try and mold the Toa Cordrus into a good team are paying off, despite his frequent clashes with Casua. During battle, he gives orders quickly and doesn’t expect any nonsense from his fellow Toa. Originally, he came from the Northern Continent, and as a Ba-Matoran worked as a tool maker. A village of Ce-Matoran was also close to Ba-Koro, which was where Kavrin came from. Somehow, the two had never met until the formation of their team. Gradus had also never met any of the other Toa Cordrus. Soon after they became Toa, Gradus immediately took charge as the team’s leader, much to Casua’s irritation. After this, the team ran into Rukah, an Irusian, who told him about what had happened to his home. The Toa Cordrus swiftly agreed to go with him in an attempt to take it back. Along the journey, they ran into three more Irusians, those being Dekan, Whari, and Karusa. They joined forces and continued their journey, and eventually the group met up with the Toa Setras, Serti, and Vedra. After introductions were made the two groups realized that they had the same mission, and then they joined together to take back Irusia. The two Turaga also began training the Toa Cordrus and continued their teaching of the Toa Setras.

Kavrin

The most peaceful of the group, Kavrin is a Toa of Psionics. The mask that she uses is the Hau, the Mask of Shielding. It creates an impenetrable energy field around the user, protecting them from harm. Her Psionic Staff is her main tool, and although she is quite proficient in using it in battle, she prefers to use it for peaceful purposes. Psionics is her element, and she can use it for a variety of things, including mental shielding, telepathy, telekinesis, illusion creating, and limited mind control, among other things. However, she rarely ever uses them in a combative way, preferring to redirect rather than attack. As stated above, Kavrin is a very peaceful individual who would rather sit and talk than fight. Although, if forced to fight, she is very good at using her powers and her staff to do so. Despite this, she is probably the least good at fighting in the Toa Cordrus. She is almost definitely the smartest, however, as her mind powers allow her to sense what others are feeling and mediate with them better. During politics, she is the one you want on your side, as she can be very persuasive and influential. Kavrin is very kind to most beings and tries the hardest of the group to protect innocents, even more so than Gradus. She also appreciates nature, though not as much as Akaru. She gets along well with him and Casua, though she sometimes is put at odds with the Toa of Water, due to Casua preferring to fight rather than talk. She also helps to talk to Rutar whenever he isn’t talking to the others. Kavrin was originally from a Ce-Matoran village, called Ce-Koro, on the Northern Continent. As a Ce-Matoran, she often worked as a diplomat, and this experience in peaceful talking is very helpful as a Toa. Coincidentally, this village was close to Ba-Koro, which was Gradus’ old home. The two never met though, until the formation of their Toa team. Kavrin had also never met any of the other Toa Cordrus until they became Toa. After they had become Toa, they met Rukah, an Irusian who told them that his home, Irusia, had been captured. The novice Toa quickly agreed to help him, and along the way they ran into three more Irusians and eventually the Toa Setras and the two Turaga. After introductions were made, the combined group began making battle plans to take back the island. Serti and Vedra also began training the new Toa.

Rutar

Perhaps the most mysterious of the Toa Cordrus, Rutar is a Toa of Stone. He is also the strongest, and his Kanohi is the Ruru, the Mask of Night Vision. Despite being Noble-shaped, it is in fact a Great Mask. The Ruru allows Rutar to see in dark places, and even has limited X-ray vision. As for tools, he carries twin Sickle Swords, which allow him to channel his stone powers and are in fact very durable and sharp. He is an expert at using them to their full potential, often attacking or slamming into enemies with them. Rutar is a Toa of Stone, and so can create and control stone and rocks. He uses his power to make stone prisons, stone walls, and can even shake the ground, if it has enough rocks in it. He can also crumble stones into dust. Rutar is extremely strong and is willing to take more than a few hits for his friends. In battle, he often uses direct force, charging or slamming right into anything in his path, or using his stone powers to trap or hit opponents. Rutar is also very stealthy when he chooses to be, and is incredibly swift, using his swords to smash or slice foes. Despite his battle tactics, he always follows the Toa Code and is extremely loyal to his friends. Rutar is often silent and doesn’t waste words when talking. In fact, he hardly ever talks, and the member of the team he interacts with the most is Kavrin. He is often distant, and is usually silent and stoic. None of the Toa Cordrus know why he is this way, but he has perfectly good reasons. In fact, Rutar was from Irusia, one of the members of the small Matoran population on the island. However, he was not native to the island, having migrated there from the southeastern part of the Southern Continent. As a Po-Matoran, Rutar was very friendly and worked as a carver. His best friend was Ohira, a Vo-Matoran tour guide, with Rutar often making souvenirs for the tourists. However, this peaceful time was shattered by the invasion of Irusia. During the invasion, Ohira and Rutar were separated, and Rutar desperately searched for his friend, hoping that they could escape together. Ultimately, his search was in vain, and Rutar was one of the few Matoran that managed to escape from Irusia. Unknown to him was that Ohira had left the island and had in fact been transformed into a Toa. Ever since, he has been mostly closed off from the universe and has promised himself he would never carve until he saw Ohira again. After becoming a Toa, Rutar hoped that she was still alive and the Toa Cordrus could rescue her once they got to Irusia. Like the others, he had never met them until they were called to become Toa. Rukah, an Irusian, met them soon after they became Toa and told them that his home island of Irusia had been overrun and that he needed help to reclaim it. The Toa agreed to help him and the seven then began venturing south. Along the way, they met up with Dekan, Whari, and Karusa, and joined forces. They also met up with Serti, Vedra, and the Toa Setras and Rutar was overjoyed to see that his old friend Ohira was still alive. After the rest were introduced, the two groups joined forces and began heading south and making battle plans. The pair of Turaga also began training the novice Toa.

Casua

Toa of Water and deputy of the team. She can use her Kaukau, or the Mask of Water Breathing, to breathe underwater for extended periods of time. This is particularly useful given that she is a Toa of Water and often has to swim to different places. Casua carries two Water Blades, which are thin, light swords that she uses in combat and channels her water powers through. Casua is also very quick and acrobatic, and these weapons go well with her fighting style. Being a Toa of Water, she can control and create water. She often uses her element to push back foes, or to knock them off their feet. She also excels in close combat, using swift strikes to defeat enemies. Her fighting style also fits her personality, which is snippy, impulsive, and sarcastic, unlike most Toa of Water. Casua is the deputy leader of the Toa Cordrus, and her leadership skills are the best of the team save Gradus, who is better at organizing. However, her impulsive and hot headed nature has often put her at odds with Gradus, as she sometimes doesn’t think things through and has little patience during missions where she has to wait. She dislikes that he is the leader but subconsciously recognizes that he is better at the job. Casua would also fight first rather than talking, which sometimes causes friction between her and Kavrin. Casua would rather get things done quickly, and her weapons and fighting style reflect this. She often insults or laughs at foes in order to trip them up or confuse them. While very agile and acrobatic, she is not very good at being stealthy, unlike Rutar or Gradus. Despite her impulsive nature, she often gets along well with the other members of the Toa Cordrus, even Gradus at times. She gets along the best with Kavrin and Toiah, the latter because of his tendency to joke around, which she sometimes takes part in. Before becoming a Toa, she lived in a Ga-Matoran village on the shores of the Southern Continent. When she was a Matoran she worked as a sentry for her village. Like the others, she had met none of them until the day they became Toa. After they transformed into Toa, the novice group came upon an Irusian named Rukah, who told them that he needed assistance to take back his island from hostile invading forces. The Toa Cordrus agreed to help him and they began heading south, running into three more Irusians along the way. They also ran into two Turaga and the Toa Setras, and after all were introduced, they joined forces. The combined group then began making plans to take back Irusia, and Serti and Vedra started teaching the new Toa in combat and how to use their powers.

Akaru

This guy is the Toa Cordrus of Plantlife. The mask that he wears is the Mask of Kindred, or the Faxon. It allows him to copy the powers of Rahi who share the same environment as him, and he frequently makes use of this ability. Akaru’s Toa Tool is the Vine Flail, which is a large flail that is made out of a vine. Because he is a Toa of Plantlife, he is able to control the vine, usually to have it wrap around other beings or their weapons. He can also cause it to grow longer or stretch. His other plant life powers include creating plants and controlling plants. Akaru often makes use of vines to capture opponents or to fight. He is also able to control dead plant matter and can accelerate the growth of plants. Akaru is very creative in using his elemental powers and a staple move of his is to ensnare beings with vines. He excels at stealth, but given his bright blue and green armor this is only good in jungles or other similar heavily wooded areas. Personality-wise, Akaru is generally easygoing and kind. He appreciates the little things in life, like the texture of tree bark and the colors of flowers. Additionally, he respects most beings and gets along well with Kavrin in this regard. Don’t mistake him for being slow, however. In battle, he is also very calm, and doesn’t make a move until he is sure it will work. Alternatively, he uses powerful and fast blows when angered, and the best way to anger him is to carelessly destroy plants and foliage. Despite the speed of these attacks, they are uncannily accurate. Akaru cares deeply about plants, which is about average for a Toa of Plantlife. He also gets along well with Toiah, given his wisecracking nature, and can understand Rutar and the others very well. Akaru also understands interconnected systems very well, and is a skilled healer. As a Bo-Matoran, he lived in a village called Bo-Koro, where he worked as a healer, and this knowledge still serves him well as a Toa. He was also rather knowledgeable about Rahi. His village was located on the southern part of the Northern Continent. Like the other members of the Toa Cordrus, Akaru had never met any of them until they became Toa. Their first mission as Toa started when Rukah met them shortly after their transformation, and they went with him to free his home island of Irusia from the invaders. During their journey to the island, they encountered three more Irusians: Dekan, Whari, and Karusa. Later on they ran into the six Toa Setras and the two Turaga, Serti and Vedra. After being introduced, both groups realized they had the same objective. This caused them to join forces, and they began making plans to take back the island. Serti and Vedra also began training the Toa Cordrus on battle tactics and how to use their abilities.

Toiah

Toa of Ice of the Toa Cordrus. Toiah’s Kanohi is the Kiril, the Mask of Regeneration. With it he can regenerate and repair inorganic materials, such as armor, however it does not work on organic materials. Toiah’s Kiril is Noble-shaped, though it is a Great Mask. The Icicle Sword is his primary Toa Tool, and being a Toa of Ice can channel his ice powers through it. He also uses the blunt hilt of the blade to hit things, and the blade part to slice things. Using his powers, Toiah can create and control ice. A signature combat move of his is to shoot icicles from his hands. In battle, he is usually very swift, using his ice powers to the fullest advantage, often trapping foes in ice blocks or using ice to trip up foes. He is careful to follow the Toa Code and not kill foes by freezing, though. Toiah is also very good at dodging things and is very agile, though not to the extent of Casua. He is also very well versed in the intricacies of technology and mechanics, being able to fix broken pieces of technology with his mask and build gadgets for the team, if he has the right materials. Toiah’s personality is easygoing, and he has been known to frequently crack jokes. He’s very much the “nice guy” of the team. Despite all this, he knows when to keep his mouth shut as to not get himself or others in trouble, though sometimes he does cross the line. The times when Toiah is serious are the times to watch out for him. He usually only gets serious when in a difficult battle or when being told something important. He uses swift, dangerous attacks when serious in battle, and is not to be underestimated due to his creative mind. Don’t take his easygoing nature for laziness, however, because once he starts a job he will see it through to the very end. Toiah is also extremely loyal to Gradus and will do almost anything he tells him to. He gets along well with pretty much all of the Toa Cordrus. Before becoming a Toa, Toiah lived in a village of Ko-Matoran on the northwestern part of the Southern Continent. When Toiah was a Matoran he worked as an engineer. Like the rest, he had never met them until they became Toa. Soon after they became Toa, the Toa Cordrus met an Irusian named Rukah who told them about how his home island, Irusia, had been overrun and captured by hostile forces led by a Makuta. The Toa agreed to go with him to attempt to save the island, and during their journey south they met three more Irusians. They also eventually met up with Serti, Vedra, and the Toa Setras. After they were all introduced, the group continued heading for Irusia. During their journey they began making plans on how to take back the island, and the two Turaga began training the novice Toa.

Toa Setras

The Toa Setras are a newly formed and inexperienced Toa Team. The Toa Setras are composed of Ohira (Toa of Lightning), Dektra (Toa of Sonics), Letarin (Toa of Air), Kerik (Toa of Fire), Trevinas (Toa of Iron), and Castan (Toa of Earth). Like the Toa Cordrus, they hope to become more of a team in time. The Toa Setras were formed after Serti, a Toa of Magnetism, relinquished his Toa Power into Toa Stones. After the six Matoran became Toa, Serti completed his destiny, and thus became a Turaga. The Matoran were given these stones and became Toa by activating them with a suva. Unlike the Toa Cordrus, the members of the Toa Setras had met or at least seen each other before, due to their shared home of Irusia. This team’s creation is parallel to the Toa Cordrus’.

Ohira

The leader of the Toa Setras, Ohira is a Toa of Lightning. She wears the Kanohi Miru, or Mask of Levitation. With it, she can float in the air or slowly descend. She can also use air currents to glide and keep her aloft. The Toa Tools that she carries are two forearm-mounted Electricity Blades. Her most commonly used attack is shooting lightning bolts from the ends of the weapons, and she is equally skilled at melee combat. Ohira’s powers allow her to create and control electrical currents, and she takes full advantage of her abilities in battle, often shocking or hurling bolts of lightning at opponents. Her personality is similarly energetic. She shares traits with the Toa Cordrus’ leader, Gradus, in that she is proactive, good at organizing, and takes no nonsense from the members of her team or anyone else. Unlike him, Ohira is a lot more lively. She is also witty and funny, as her enemies have found out by being teased or distracted in battle. Because she is the leader of the Toa Setras, she has grown to respect all of her teammates’ opinions and become open to their ideas. Before becoming a Toa, Ohira lived in Irusia. As a Matoran, she worked as a cartographer and tour guide, often traveling all over the island. She was best friends with Rutar, a Po-Matoran carver, and the two saw each other and worked together many times, with Rutar carving souvenirs out of stone for Ohira’s tourists. One day, she was approached by Serti and told that something bad would happen to the island soon. She was given a Toa Stone, and he also gave her and five other Matoran instructions on how to get to the Irusian suva. Ohira and these other five Matoran then became the Toa Setras after activating the stones in the suva. After they had become Toa, Serti and Vedra appeared, Serti now a Turaga. Ohira and the rest were told that they needed to leave, which they did, with her taking charge as leader of the team. The departure also prevented their capture during the invasion of their home. Serti and Vedra also began training the new Toa. The group wandered for a while, evading capture and protecting innocents, before meeting up with the Toa Cordrus, Rukah, Dekan, Whari, and Karusa. Introductions were made, and the group began making battle plans to take back Irusia, with the two Turaga also continuing their training of the Toa Setras and the Toa Cordrus.

Dektra

Unlike the other Toa Setras, Dektra is blind. He is the team’s Toa of Sonics. The main Kanohi he wears is the Kaukau, or the Mask of Water Breathing. True to its name, it allows him to breathe at great depths underwater for an extended period of time. The Sonic Shield is his Toa Tool, and he uses it to channel his sound-controlling abilities. Despite his blindness, he is skilled at using it offensively as well as defensively, often swinging it at foes, slamming enemies with it, or blocking attacks. Dektra’s element is Sonics, so he can control, create, and absorb sound waves. He must be careful when using his sonic powers, however, as his hearing is much stronger than that of other Toa. His incredible hearing is also an advantage, as this makes it almost impossible to sneak up on him, as he can hear sounds from farther away than his friends can. Dektra also uses his hearing to navigate, as well as echolocation, which is a skill he gained upon becoming a Toa. As far back as he can remember, Dektra has been blind for all of his life, however he knows not to let his lack of sight get to him. He is very easygoing, calm, and friendly most of the time, but in battle he uses his incredible hearing and echolocation abilities to be a skilled warrior. Despite his battle skills, he prefers not to fight as he is very empathetic and the most peaceful of the Toa Setras. As a Matoran, he trained himself to recognize many different sounds so that he could use his hearing to great advantage. This is helpful in battle. Before becoming a Toa, Dektra lived on the island of Irusia. He worked as a weaver, making colorful carpets and other things out of thread. Despite his lack of sight, he was skilled and dextrous at his job. However, the things he made often had random patterns as he couldn’t see the colors of the thread, though this was not a problem because it made his works valued by the Matoran and Irusians, as no art of his was the same as another. Each and every one of his patterns was unique. Like the other Toa Setras, Dektra was visited by Serti, a resident Toa of Magnetism, and given a Toa Stone along with a cryptic warning of Irusia’s safety. He and the other future Toa eventually made it to the suva on the island, and after activating their stones they became the Toa Setras. Turaga Serti and the other resident Toa, Vedra, came to them and explained that they needed to leave Irusia as soon as possible. They did so, and this prevented their capture during the invasion of their home by Makuta Xianos and his forces. Vedra soon became a Turaga as well, as the Toa Cordrus had been created. He and Serti also began teaching the newer Toa Setras about how to use their powers as well as battle tactics. The group wandered for a while, protecting innocents along the way, and they eventually met up with the Toa Cordrus and the four Irusians. They joined forces and began making plans to take back Irusia. The two Turaga began training the Toa Cordrus as well as the Toa Setras.

He is also very agile and quick in battle. Like the others, Serti came to him one day and gave him a cryptic warning that his home was in danger, and handed him a Toa Stone. Letarin and the other five Matoran went to the Irusian suva, and, after activating the Toa Stones, became the Toa Setras. Serti became a Turaga, and he and Toa Vedra came to the new Toa and told them that they needed to flee Irusia. They did so, narrowly escaping being captured in the invasion of their home. After they left, Serti and Vedra began training the new Toa in combat and how to use their powers. Vedra also became a Turaga not long after they left. The group wandered, generally heading north while stopping bad guys and protecting innocents along the way. Eventually, they met up with the Toa Cordrus and the four Irusians, and after introductions were made they joined forces. The combined group then began heading back south to take back Irusia, and they made battle plans. The two Turaga also started training the Toa Cordrus as well.

quick note

I have not finished Kerik’s, Trevinas’, or Castan’s lore dumps as the latter two have yet to be built and I have not made a render of Kerik yet.

I had to split the GIGANTIC LORE DUMP into two posts because I surpassed the word limit!

Serti

A Turaga of Magnetism, creator of the Toa Setras, and Vedra’s best friend. Before becoming a Turaga, he wore a Great Mask of Night Vision, which allowed him to see in the dark, project a light from his head, and even gave him limited X-ray vision. After becoming a Turaga, he wore the Noble Ruru, which only allowed night vision. As a Toa, his tool was the Magnetic Staff. Although called a staff, Serti was good at using it as a blunt-ended spear, often using his magnetism abilities to guide it in flight. He can also bring the weapon back to him after it has been thrown, as it is magnetic. He retained the staff as a Turaga, however it became smaller to size better with him. Serti’s element allows him to create and control magnetism and magnetic fields. As a Turaga, his power level was greatly reduced, but he still had limited control over magnetism. In battle, Serti uses his element in very direct ways, often flinging opponents around or magnetizing them to the ground. In addition, he is a good strategist, an expert at finding his enemies’ weak spots and exploiting them. Serti’s personality is very reserved and serious. He has little sense of humor and can often be blunt and uncompromising, however he is very loyal to and respects his friends. He also has a strong sense of duty and hardly ever gives up once he gets started on something, though he will recognize when he needs to stop. Serti is a seasoned warrior and his tactics are a result of his experienced mind, though as a Turaga he has less involvement in battle than he is used to, due to his lessened strength and smaller frame. He has taken quick advantage of these, and despite not being involved directly in battle he offers advice and instructions to the Toa Setras and Toa Cordrus. Serti enjoys passing on his battle knowledge and experience to these less experienced warriors. As a Toa, he was transformed from a Fa-Matoran and was originally on the same team as Vedra, where they met and soon became friends. The two and their team went on many adventures throughout the universe, saving innocent Matoran and solving mysteries. Eventually, the other members of the team settled down and became Turaga. Serti and Vedra thought they should do this as well, and while they were still Toa they decided to settle on the island of Irusia, having ventured there on a past excursion. The Irusians were friendly enough and the two were welcomed as protectors of the island. They remained there for several decades, until Vedra had a vision of their home being invaded by hostile forces. This was only days until the invasion, and the two knew they needed to act fast. Serti and Vedra put their Toa Power into a set of six Toa Stones each, though Vedra did not do so until much later. Serti gave his stones to six Matoran who lived in Irusia, those being Ohira, Dektra, Letarin, Kerik, Trevinas, and Castan. These six took the stones, and, after activating them, became the Toa Setras while Serti transformed into a Turaga. Their fears were proven right, as Makuta Xianos and his forces began taking over the island. During the invasion, Serti and Vedra were able to escape, and the two met up with the Toa Setras, and the group eventually met the Toa Cordrus and the quartet of Irusians. After this, they started heading for Irusia and began making battle plans. Along the way they started teaching the novice Toa.

Vedra

A Turaga of Plasma, creator of the Toa Cordrus, and Serti’s best friend. As a Toa, his Kanohi was a Great Matatu, allowing him to lift and move objects with his mind. As a Turaga, he wore a Noble Mask of Telekinesis, which had the same function just for a lesser duration and with reduced lifting strength. His Great Matatu also had a scope, which allowed him telescopic vision, however it was lost upon becoming a Turaga. Vedra’s Toa Tool was unique in that it could be converted from a Plasma Sword to a Plasma Crossbow. It retained this functionality after he became a Turaga. The crossbow fired plasma bolts, and it was specially treated so that it would not melt when in use. Vedra was an expert on using the dual functionality of this weapon, and it fit with his eccentric and unpredictable nature. He was also a great shot with it and likewise was very well-versed in swordsmanship. His element is plasma, and such he can create and control plasma, as in superheated ionized gas. This element is rather dangerous, and Vedra had to be careful that he did not kill his enemies, as Toa try not to kill if it isn’t absolutely necessary. However, due to his experience, Vedra is a skilled user of the element. He is very good at using it to melt objects or heat things up. He also specialized in using it to create bright displays to distract enemies. As a Turaga, his power was greatly reduced, but he still had limited plasma powers. His sword/crossbow shrank with him. In battle, he often uses wild and unpredictable tactics, contrasting against Serti’s more strategic moves. He uses his Kanohi in battle as well, using it to fling objects or enemies around in addition to his plasma powers. Vedra’s personality is very eccentric and unpredictable, in sharp contrast to his best friend Serti’s. He likes to make jokes and frequently tells them in battle to put enemies off balance. He also likes to move around, and he cannot sit still for very long. Vedra is a skilled warrior and despite his lighthearted personality he can recognize when he should be serious. As a Turaga he retains his eccentric tendencies, though he directs the newer Toa in battle rather than taking part himself. Like Serti, he enjoys teaching the less experienced members of their group, and is very loyal to his friends and allies. As a Toa, he was transformed from a Su-Matoran, and was originally on the same team as Serti, where the two met and became friends. Their team went on many adventures throughout the universe, saving innocents and doing good. Eventually, the team began to disband, as the former members settled down and became Turaga. Vedra and Serti decided that they should do this as well, and settled on the southern island of Irusia. They had been there on a past adventure and the Irusians were friendly enough, and the two Toa were welcomed as protectors of the island. They lived there for several decades, and their time there was mostly peaceful until Vedra had a vision of the island being invaded and the population captured. Knowing they needed to act fast, Serti put his power into six Toa Stones, eventually creating the Toa Setras. Vedra made Toa Stones as well, although he did not do so until much later, as he was unable to find suitable Matoran. A day before the invasion, Vedra was desperately searching for suitable Matoran. Dekan came up to him and asked what was wrong. Vedra told him that he had experienced a vision in which Irusia was invaded and all the inhabitants captured, and that he and his friend Serti needed to make new Toa. Dekan told him of a secret teleportation device, and that he had been trusted with its location and the knowledge that it was only to be used in times of trouble. Vedra went with the Irusian blacksmith and found it, with Dekan telling him that the device required Toa Stones in order to work. Vedra complied, and gave him the six Toa Stones, but then Xianos’ invasion had started. Dekan told him to flee, and Vedra trusted him with the stones. Dekan activated the device and the stones were sent to the suva on the Southern Continent, and the six Matoran called there, Gradus, Kavrin, Rutar, Casua, Akaru, and Toiah, became the Toa Cordrus, while Vedra transformed into a Turaga. Ultimately, Dekan was captured while Vedra, Serti, and the Toa Setras managed to escape Irusia before being caught. The six Toa and two Turaga eventually met up with the Toa Cordrus and the four Irusians, and joined forces. After this, they began making battle plans to take back the island, and started heading back toward it. The two Turaga also began training the new Toa.

Irusia

Irusia is an island in the eastern chain of the Southern Islands of the Matoran Universe, located at the left knee of the Great Spirit Robot. Irusians are native to the island, and there is also a small population of Matoran and a few Toa who live there. A special type of crystal also comes from here, with mysterious properties. The Irusian crystal is very durable and almost indestructible, though extremely powerful forces can shatter it. In addition, it can deflect just about anything, from physical objects to forms of energy, when hit with force. The crystal’s third and possibly most mysterious property is that, if hit with echolocation or sonar, it can slightly increase the original frequency of the sound waves sent out. The crystals may also have more properties, however these are unknown.

Irusians

This species is native to the island of Irusia. All Irusians have wings, which enable them to fly, despite how spindly or weak these wings may look. All Irusians also have innate knowledge of flight, and of air currents. Each one also has the ability to use Kanohi masks and each has one natural power. These powers have a wide range and it is very difficult to find a pair of Irusians with the same powers. Certain parts of Irusians’ bodies also glow, and their eyes glow a bit brighter than these other parts. Most of the time, their eyes are the same color as the parts that glow, however this is not always the case. They are humanoid in appearance, about the size of a Toa. Even though they can wear and use Kanohi like Toa, they can survive just fine without them. Removing an Irusian’s Kanohi has no ill effects on them. However, most wear masks to cover their unsightly faces and to give them extra powers. The species is also slightly stronger than Toa. Due to being a flying species, most Irusians have a fear of tight spaces, although exceptions exist. They are also very light on their feet, which is fitting as they are equally skilled in the air, and they excel in aerial combat. In order for them to fly, their wing muscles are incredibly strong, and their armor is lighter than that of other beings. This is because their armor is a special protodermis alloy which is made on their home island.

Rukah

This particular Irusian is notable by being my self moc. Like all Irusians, he has wings, and can use them to fly. His Kanohi is the Mask of Truth, which allows him to see through any deception or disguise. His mask is not shaped like a regular Rode because, as a test, Dekan asked him to forge the mask. After successfully doing so, Rukah got a little creative with its design. His Irusian power is the ability to cause fatigue and sleep in anything, including himself. For example, if a Kane-Ra was about to charge at him, he could use his power to make it tired, and then make it fall asleep. His main weapons are twin swords, though he is skilled with others. The blades are crafted from Irusian crystals, which gives the blades all the advantages of the crystals, including repelling or deflecting things and extreme durability. His swords were specially made for him by Dekan, his mentor. In battle, he is very quick, using his swords to strike quickly. He is light on his feet and in the air, and he excels at fighting in the sky, though these traits are common to most Irusians. He also carries with him Vakras’ old Kanohi, a Pakari. Rukah’s personality is calm and easygoing, and he is easy enough to get along with, provided you are not a thief or causer of harm. Lying to him will not work, given his mask. His goals generally line up with those of the Toa, fighting to protect innocents and stop villains. Rukah is also a traveler, wanting to explore, though this sometimes gets him into trouble. Most of the time he isn’t quick to pick a fight, wanting to talk it out and such. Despite this, don’t underestimate him in a fight. He is extremely skilled with his twin swords and is very creative in using his Irusian abilities. Rukah is also extremely persistent and hardly ever backs down unless he knows his position is hopeless. In addition, he has a good sense of humor and fun, as well as a quick wit, though he knows when to keep his mouth shut. Rukah likes to make jokes and often teases or distracts enemies in combat. Before his home was invaded and taken over, he lived in Irusia, being a member of the native species. There, he was the apprentice of Dekan, training under him to become an Irusian blacksmith. In addition, Rukah was also learning battle tactics and weapon skills. His mentor tested him many times, and Rukah’s training was about ¾ complete by the time of the invasion. His best friend was Vakras, an Irusian miner who was abducted days before the invasion of Irusia, with only his Kanohi Pakari left behind. Rukah attempted to look for him but his searches were unsuccessful. Unknown to him, Vakras was experimented on, mutated, and corrupted by a Makuta named Xianos. During the invasion, Dekan told Rukah to flee, which he did. Due to his departure, Rukah did not know that Dekan was captured, though not before he helped Vedra teleport his Toa Stones to the suva on the Southern Continent, which eventually led to the creation of the Toa Cordrus. Rukah’s escape was almost unnoticed, the exception being his old friend Vakras, who was now loyal to Xianos, had noticed him and attempted to take him down. The two fought to a standstill, with Vakras’ combat skills being improved by his corruption and training with the Makuta. Rukah eventually managed to escape by distracting Vakras, though not before Vakras had wounded him. He headed north to the Southern Continent, healing and fighting along the way. Eventually, he made his way to the very suva on the continent that Dekan had sent Vedra’s Toa Stones to. There, he met Gradus, Kavrin, Rutar, Casua, Akaru, and Toiah, the Toa Cordrus. After meeting each of them, he told them that his home, the southern island of Irusia, had been invaded and captured by hostile forces and practically begged them to help him. The Toa eventually came to a decision and decided to go with Rukah, and the seven began their journey southward. Along the way they ran into three Irusians, Karusa, Whari, and Dekan, Rukah’s old mentor. After Rukah’s joyful reunion with the Irusian smith, the three Irusians joined their group. The now ten-member group then ran into Serti, Vedra, Ohira, Dektra, Letarin, Kerik, Trevinas, and Castan some time later. The six Toa Setras and the two Turaga eventually joined forces with them after meeting and introductions. The force of four Irusians, twelve Toa, and two Turaga then continued their way south towards Irusia, and started making plans. Along the way, Dekan instructed Rukah what little he could on the go, and the two Turaga began training the Toa Cordrus as well as the Toa Setras.

Dekan

Dekan is an Irusian. In his homeland, he was a blacksmith, and one of few skillful enough to be able to work with Irusian crystals. Like all members of his species, Dekan is able to fly. He wears the Kanohi Matatu, the Mask of Telekinesis. With it, he is able to move and lift objects with his mind. Despite being Noble-shaped, it is a Great Mask in power. Dekan’s Irusian ability manifests in his complete immunity to heat and fire, which is useful when working in his forge. Fire and heat-based attacks will not affect or harm him whatsoever. His weapons include his sword and his hammer. While not as skilled as Rukah, Dekan is rather proficient with his sword, and its blade is made of Irusian crystals, like Rukah’s. His hammer is just a regular nondescript smithing hammer, though it can be used as a weapon due to Dekan’s substantial strength, which has been built up over time due to his blacksmith occupation. Dekan is usually calm and patient. He knows that you have to have patience to forge things the right way, something that he has impressed on Rukah. He is generally very lenient and calm, but is known to become stern and uncompromising when threatened or pressured. Dekan is also very wise and often speaks proverbs and riddles in order to better teach the Toa Cordrus and Rukah. In a fight, he takes full advantage of his powers, often using his mask to throw objects or enemies around. Dekan is very much a father figure for Rukah, and having to leave him behind took a heavy toll on Rukah’s livelihood. Dekan is one of few Irusian smiths skilled enough to be able to manipulate Irusian crystals and shape them into weapons or tools. Dekan was also the one who had forged Rukah’s blades and Vakras’ scythe, along with his own sword. Before Irusia was invaded by Makuta Xianos, Dekan was Rukah’s mentor, training him to become an Irusian blacksmith. One of his tests was that Rukah had to forge a Kanohi Mask for himself, which he succeeded in. Unfortunately, the training would soon be interrupted by the invasion. A day before, Dekan came across Vedra, a resident Toa of Plasma, desperately searching for suitable Matoran to become Toa. He asked him what was troubling him, and Vedra said that he had received a vision of the island of Irusia being invaded and the inhabitants captured, and that he and his friend Serti knew they had to act fast. Vedra told him that they intended to create more Toa, but he couldn’t find any suitable Matoran. Dekan then led him to a hidden teleportation device, informing the Toa of Plasma that it had been planted there long ago and that he had been told that it was to be used in times of trouble. It required Toa Stones in order to work, so Vedra gave him his Toa Stones, but then the invasion had begun. Dekan told him to flee, and the Toa did so, with Dekan activating the device and teleporting the stones onto a hidden suva on the Southern Continent. Unknown to the smith, as soon as the suva received the stones it activated a signal that called Gradus, Kavrin, Rutar, Casua, Akaru, and Toiah to the location of the suva. Dekan also met up with Rukah, his student, and told him to flee, which he did, though reluctantly. As the invasion continued, Dekan was unable to warn the other Irusians or Matoran as he was captured by Xianos’ troops and forced to forge Vakras’ scythe for him. Eventually, he managed to escape with the help of Whari and Karusa. With these two others, he wandered around hoping to find a way to save his home, until the trio ran into Rukah and the Toa Cordrus. After a joyful reunion between Rukah and Dekan, they teamed up and started heading for Irusia. Along the way, the group ran into Serti, Vedra, and the Toa Setras. After realizing they shared the same goal, Gradus, Kavrin, Rutar, Casua, Akaru, Toiah, Rukah, Dekan, Whari, Karusa, Serti, Vedra, Ohira, Dektra, Letarin, Kerik, Trevinas, and Castan joined forces and began making battle plans to take back the island of Irusia. Dekan also began teaching Rukah what little he could on their journey to their home, and the two Turaga began teaching the new Toa.

Whari

This spear-wielding Irusian is called Whari. He wears the Kakama, or the Mask of Speed. It allows him to move and run extremely fast, which is useful in battle for quick and surprising attacks. The mask also gives him heightened reflexes to keep up with the super speed. Being an Irusian, Whari can also fly. His particular Irusian power is sonar. He is able to send out sound waves to detect objects. This is useful in dark places such as caves where there could be hazards he is unaware of. In using this power, Whari inadvertently discovered another property of Irusian crystals: When he sent out the sound waves and it bounced off the crystal, the frequency was different from the initial sound waves he had sent out; it was much higher, but still ultrasonic to all but him. This could only mean one thing: The crystals had somehow increased the frequency of his initial sound waves. This became useful because then he could tell if Irusian crystals were in the area he used his sonar in. Because of this, Whari had sometimes been called to the Irusian mines to detect where pockets of the crystals could be found. He is also very competent with the spear that he carries. He can use it as a melee weapon or to throw, and he is particularly proficient at throwing it while in flight. This skill has taken Whari many years to develop, and in battle he takes full advantage of that, often throwing his spear and then flying down to retrieve it. Personality-wise, Whari is usually a quiet and calm individual. He is not very outspoken but will voice his opinion on what he feels are important matters. In battle, sometimes he will doubt his skills but as soon as others reassure him, or he reassures himself, he is a warrior to be reckoned with. If pressured, Whari will strike back with equal force, and his battle tactics are creative and unpredictable. Whari makes use of his abilities and mask in battle to come up with interesting attacks. He is also very patient, though this is probably due to his old job as a sentinel. Before his home was invaded, he was a lookout for the island. Unfortunately, this did not stop Irusia from being overrun. At the start of the invasion, Whari and the other lookouts were knocked out by a Rhotuka spinner, and thus unable to raise the alarm for the other Irusians to prepare for battle or flee. As a result, almost all Irusians and Matoran were captured. Luckily, he was able to escape with the help of Karusa, and the two eventually returned to Irusia in order to rescue Dekan. They were successful, and after that the three departed the island. The trio of Irusians wandered for a while, eventually coming across Rukah and the six Toa Cordrus. The two groups joined forces and started heading to Irusia. Along the way, they ran into another group consisting of the two Turaga and the Toa Setras. After introductions were made, the groups joined together and began making battle plans to take back the island.

Karusa

This Irusian is called Karusa. Her Kanohi is the Huna, the Mask of Concealment, which allows her to become invisible. However, this is not foolproof as she will still cast a shadow in brightly lit areas. This mask power is particularly useful for stealth. Like all members of her species, Karusa can fly and has innate knowledge of air currents and flight. Her Irusian ability manifests in her increased endurance. She is able to sustain much more physical activity and for longer than her fellow Irusians. This ability is very helpful in battle, as it allows her to fight for longer without tiring. Her primary weapon is her staff, and her swift strikes and smart tactics make her a dangerous warrior to cross. She is also a master of many different weapons. Karusa is a good leader, and she’s good at organizing, traits she gained from her former occupation. She is also very fond of dry humor, and often makes sly remarks. Like Gradus, she is very proactive and does not take any nonsense from anyone. Karusa can also be very intimidating when she wants to, and she has used this to her advantage in past battles, with her Huna often assisting in that. However, she respects all of her friends and values their opinions. Before Irusia was overrun, Karusa was the elected leader of the island. Many of her leadership skills were gained by this position. Despite this position, she was unable to set up a properly coordinated defense during the invasion of her home and almost all inhabitants of the island were captured. During the invasion, she managed to escape and also saved Whari from enslavement. The two then decided to return to the island to rescue Dekan, and their attempt worked. Then the three left the island. Karusa knew that she needed to save their home, but never found the perfect opportunity until they ran into the Toa Cordrus and Rukah. After joining forces, they began to make a plan to take back Irusia. As they continued their journey, they ran into Serti, Vedra, and the Toa Setras, and after they all met the two groups teamed up and began making plans to take back the island of Irusia.

Vakras

This Irusian used to be Rukah’s best friend on Irusia, but was captured and mutated by Xianos. His Irusian ability was the power of disintegration. Vakras could shoot beams from his hands or eyes that could disintegrate almost anything. He had to be careful while using this ability, as it is rather dangerous to use. Like all Irusians, he had wings, and could fly. His original Kanohi was the Pakari, or the Mask of Strength. That particular mask was very useful as it allowed him to boost his strength to very high levels, which came in handy for his job as a miner. After his corruption, he gained the ability to spread anger and discord in beings, though this required concentration for it to be effective. Vakras also gained the power to generate and control molten protodermis, however this requires a lot of energy to use and he typically only uses the ability as a last resort. His Pakari was also replaced with a Noble Ruru-shaped Tryna, the Mask of Reanimation, which allows him to fill the bodies of deceased beings with artificial life energy, effectively resurrecting them. It requires effort in order for the deceased beings to remain resurrected, because once concentration is lost or the mask is knocked off the user they collapse back into an inanimate corpse. In addition, Vakras gained a mental link with Xianos, which allowed them to communicate over long distances, allowed Vakras to control Xianos’ forces, but also allowed the Makuta to control him. Before Vakras’ capture, he carried no specialized weapon, though he often had a pickaxe in hand, as he preferred his life as a miner over that of a warrior. After his transformation, he was given a scythe by Xianos. He can channel his powers through the scythe and the blades of the weapon are made of Irusian crystals. Dekan was the one who forged the scythe and worked the crystals into the blades, but he did not do this willingly, as he was forced to do so by Xianos, for the Irusian blacksmith was captured during the Makuta’s invasion. Vakras was then trained by Xianos how to use the weapon, and he is extremely proficient at using it to its fullest potential, and staple moves of his are to slash at enemies with it and use the scythe’s reach to his advantage. Before being corrupted, Vakras was rather timid and quiet, though he worked hard and rarely ever left a job undone. He was very dependable and polite as well. After his capture, mutation, and corruption, Vakras became a much more malevolent, violent, and cruel person. In addition, he became fiercely loyal to Xianos, willing to carry out his will quickly and efficiently. Despite all these changes, his former personality still remains buried deep inside him, and his still-purple heartlight is a representation of this. On his home island of Irusia, Vakras worked as a miner, digging up many things, sometimes even Irusian crystals. Due to his occupation, he was very strong and enduring, though unlike other Irusians, he was unafraid of tight spaces, which was good as he usually worked in caves. His armor was colored gray, with purple glowing parts. Strangely, his eyes were a light green color. His best friend was Rukah, an apprentice blacksmith working under Dekan. A few days before the invasion, he was abducted by Xianos’ forces. Rukah went looking for him, but all he could find was his Pakari, which was dropped during Vakras’ capture. After he was successfully kidnapped, Xianos came to see him personally, and he began Vakras’ transformation by mutating him with viruses the Makuta had made, which corrupted his personality as well as his body, making him a loyal second-in-command to Xianos. Vakras also gained extra powers as well. To complete his transformation, Xianos gave him the Noble Ruru-shaped Tryna and a scythe, which he had forced the captured Dekan to forge for Vakras. He was also ruthlessly trained in combat and deception by the Makuta, as well as killing. With that, Xianos, and his four evil Irusians gathered their army and began their invasion of Irusia, with the Makuta and the four Irusians attacking from the inside, and the rest of their forces attacking from the outside. Vakras clashed with Rukah during the battle, though he managed to distract him, though not before his former friend suffered wounds inflicted by the corrupted Irusian. Ultimately, the invasion was a success, as almost all Irusians and Matoran were captured and the island occupied. The only known escapees were Ohira, Dektra, Letarin, Kerik, Trevinas, Castan, Serti, Vedra, Rutar, Karusa, Whari, and Rukah, though Dekan managed to get away later on with help from Karusa and Whari. Currently, Vakras is on Irusia, helping his Makuta master crush rebellions and unaware that the twelve Toa, two Turaga, and four Irusians are heading back to the island in an attempt to free it of Xianos’ occupation.

I guess I had to split the GIGANTIC LORE DUMP into three posts now.

Miscellaneous Characters (who will probably not be involved in the main story):

Ractun

This mysterious fellow is from a species that was almost completely wiped out by Visorak. They had no natural powers except for the ability to use Kanohi masks. On his home island, Ractun was a mechanical genius and explorer, and he fashioned two mechanical arms for himself in order to fight better and to grab or climb things. He was furious and shocked when he found out that his former homeland had been overrun by the spiders, and he found the corpses of his friends. This caused him to go mad with revenge, fear, and grief and he sought out an artifact of great power. The artifact in question was the Staff of the Green, and it was rumored that it could be found on Ractun’s home island. After a series of harrowing and dangerous trials, he succeeded. Unknown to Ractun, however, there was a very good reason why the Staff was hidden away. As soon as he took hold of it, his madness and desire for revenge massively increased, barely resembling his former personality. He also gained control over plantlife, able to create, control, and speed up the growth of plants, similar to Toa of Plantlife, only much more powerful. Unknown to him though, the consequences of this power were much more dangerous. An infection of cursed vines has been slowly spreading over his body, consuming his right arm and leg, along with his torso and head. It has even started on his mechanical arm backpack. Eventually, he will be completely consumed by the Staff, and will be little more than a freakish menace. Ractun doesn’t know this though, due his insanity. Before finding the Staff, Ractun was a rather quiet individual, although he was incredibly smart and a mechanical genius. He still is as smart as ever, just more crazy. Now, Ractun is a wild, violent person, prone to fits of hysterical laughter and random movements. Clearly he has some kind of plan in mind, but for now it is impossible to tell, although he does kill Visorak on site. His Kanohi mask is the Faxon, the Mask of Kindred, which allows him to copy the powers of Rahi close to him. Before being infected, he used this to temporarily grant himself extra powers. As mentioned above, he also uses the Staff of the Green, a mysterious and powerful staff which grants the user control over plant life, while also increasing their emotional attributes and slowly consuming them with cursed vines. The Staff can also be used for combat as it is almost indestructible and the head is very sharp. Ractun also has two mechanical arms, connected to his back, which he can control with his mind to do anything he wishes. He is also very strong and fast, traits that he shared with his long-gone species. His original armor colors were gray, black and dark blue, but now parts of him are the bright lime colors of the vines that are slowly spreading all over him. Ractun is not a member of the Others.

The Others

The Others is a mysterious and secretive group that is made up of misfits from multiple different species. The organization generally tries to do good and defend innocent beings.

Tersius

Originally a non-sapient robotic guard, Tersius is the leader and founder of the Others. Despite being unable to wear or use Kanohi masks, he is still a formidable figure in battle as his reflexes are extremely quick and he has immense strength, which are traits that all robotic guards of his type share. In addition, his “antennae” on the sides of his head are info transmitters and scanners, and his singular “eye” is capable of seeing in the infrared and ultraviolet spectrum. Tersius’ eye can also fire paralyzing energy blasts, though this takes a lot of power and he typically only uses this ability as a last resort. He is able to reconstruct himself if he is destroyed, though a foolproof way to destroy a robot of his type would be either to target the head, which contains the robot’s memory banks, logic centers, and vocal processors, or the torso, which contains the power cells. The batteries are extremely energy efficient, only needing to be recharged every thousand years or so. Tersius carries a staff, which all robots of his type do, and it contains a tiny generator which can electrically charge the blades of the staff. This allows him to augment his strikes with electricity, shocking enemies. Tersius is immune to the energy of the weapon, however extreme amounts of power can still short-circuit him. The blades of the staff are also very sharp and it can be used as any other melee weapon. He can also reassemble himself if blown apart, provided no vital components are damaged. This is something all of the robots of Tersius’ type can do. The other robots like Tersius are very effective, but the cost required to find the materials and make the mechanical guards is very high, and as a result they are a sparse sight across the universe. It has never been specifically revealed how Tersius gained sapience, but it is known that after doing so he named himself and escaped from his owner, striking out on his own and eventually creating the Others. His personality is very reserved, but despite this he still has a sense of humor and can understand the value of a good laugh in tight situations. Due to his robotic nature, he is very strategic and logical in battle. Tersius also excels at arguing, as he constantly uses logic instead of emotion. He is the leader and founder of the Others, an organization of misfits who work together to protect innocent beings and just do good in general. Because of the group’s limited amount of members, the Others remain secretive and mysterious, with Tersius only revealing its existence to those he trusts or if he has no other choice.
