Spectrum glanced over and skipped to Laslow.
“n3-e-e-e-ed help?”
The missiles explode, the resulting blast throwing Thunderblast back. The treacherous Heretic regains her bearings and charges at Thrust, drawing a dagger in her left hand.
Thrust transforms and flies up, just enough to avoid Thunderblast. He began to fire his guns.
Vigor deals a fatal blow to the Air Trooper.
Suddenly, Banzaitron leaps out of the flames beside Vigor, his blade at the ready, aiming to skewer his enemy.
Vigor yelps in surprise, falling over. Lightshift quickly turns and fires his assault rifle.
The sword impales Vigor’s leg.
The Heavy Trooper swings his hammer, aiming to knock Juliana off her feet and send her flying.
The Ground Trooper thrusts out their blade, aiming to skewer Delta as her claws scratch their shoulders.
OOC: that’s fair. I am now, however, and in any case, y’all should assume that all the bad guys’ weapons can harm your characters to some degree.
IC:
Unfortunately, there weren’t any.
Scorchlock’s blade connects, and the Chem-Trooper is slain. The Heretic falls over.
Nearby, Topside dispatches a mercenary with his rifle.
“D*mn,” the Autobot captain comments, impressed, noting the ease with which Scorchlock had dispatched the three enemies. “Where’ve you been for the past month?”
The nearest site of conflict would be the cliffs, where a sniper was menacing Alterion with their rifle.
Thunderblast dodges, before transforming and giving chase. She fires her guns once again.
Banzaitron withdraws his sword from Vigor’s leg, using its plasma sheath to deflect Lightshift’s shots.
“You wouldn’t know where the freakshow and his friend are right now, do ya?” he taunts. “After I’m done with you two, I’m looking to have myself a little rematch!”
Gatecrasher would be able to close the distance very quickly, at this point.
Scorchlock then let go of the now dead Chem Trooper body fall on the ground with a heavy metal thud before he turned around and looked at the Autobot Captain.
He had a very good question, to which Scorchlock only answered with. “My gears were trying to rust me.” He said as he looked towards his initial target, in the direction where Bludgeon was at.
“But I’m back now.” He ads before transforming into his alt mode and speeding towards Bludgeon hopping he didn’t successfully aboard his escape ship while he was taking out the Cons.
Blackbeak would fly backwards, hopefully making the trooper to accidentaly hit his face with the sword.
OOC: OK, if it was a giant bullet, why didn’t it had the above mentioned effects?
Song would not respond, as she was already focused on attacking the trooper, reason as of why Gronius called the second closest Autobot.
Alterion was trying to do some jet stunts to evade the shots. Song used this opportunity to jump on the sniper and try to tear him down with her mouth and claws.
Scorchlock couldn’t waste any time, he didn’t think of himself as a messiah, a hero that will put an end ot the Tyrant that was no different from Megatron, Bludgeon.
No, he was on a mission to bring revenge to his dead brother-in-arms, he might have been an hot headed idiot at times, but he was still like family to him. Though he noticed that someone else was following him, those Wrecker senses, you can’t sneak up on them, can you?
“Are you sure you want to do this?” Scorchlock asked, hesitating if he should allow Topside to follow him. “When I’m facing Bludgeon, I won’t be able to have your back.” He said.
“I will go out and I can’t have any distractions…” He said as he continued to drive.
The Trooper doesn’t do anything of the kind- the bot wasn’t a remarkable soldier, but they still possessed some degree of basic competence.
With Blackbeak having backed away, the Trooper shoots at the troublesome bird.
OOC: the bullet wasn’t “giant”- not by cybertronian standards, at least.
IC:
The sniper tries to throw Song off them, drawing a knife in the process.
“Pal, you’re looking at the bot who gave Starscream that scar under his eye,” Topside proudly replies. “I can pull my share of the weight.”
The Heavy Trooper doubles over, collapsing under their own weight and almost instantly falling into stasis lock from their most unfortunate injury.
The lead ship would be the Armageddon, a ten mile long Worldsweeper-class vessel shaped to resemble the Decepticon insignia, bearing blood-red armor and more than its fair share of devastating weaponry. The Armageddon was Bludgeon’s personal command ship, gifted to him by Megatron himself.
Blackbeak was too fast for him, one of the traits as of why he was chosen by his past owners.
Using this moment, Delta turned her arms into cannons and shot at the trooper’s back.
OOC: You said it was.
She forces her claw on the sniper’s hand, to try to block him from using the knife, before attempting to bite his head off.
OOC: So can I choose who is the one who Gronius called?
Saying Zepar was furious would be a massive understatement as he let loose a rapid volley of cannon fire, enhanced with Dark Energon due to his current enraged state, right at the Heretics. His eyes only conveying his hatred for Nova and the pure anger and wrath that the traitor was taken away from him just as he was about to send him back to The Pit.
Epsilon quickly transformed and dove for cover, “And now we have Mr. Practically Unkillable Laser Wings to deal with.” He said annoyed due to the fact that he wasn’t liking their odds of winning this fight now that Nova was an active player in it.
One of the three mercenaries accompanying the Heavy Trooper steps out of cover. Standing at about average height, and bearing dirty green armor, the bot draws a sword stowed in a fun rising behind their left shoulder.
“Come on!” the bot challenges, twirling the sword in their had.
The Armageddon’s guns pummel the shield dome, and swarms of enemy fighters and dropships pour from hangars in its sides.
The Trooper falls over, dead.
Salvo was tearing into the enemy forces, the turrets behind her shoulders laying low many a Heretic as they try in vain to get close to the quartermaster. She picks up one unfortunate Trooper and tosses the bot into the air, before blasting them to pieces with the riot cannon on her left arm.
Salvo then looks over at the ensuing commotion. She could have sworn that bot hadn’t been there a moment ago…
“Now that is a nickname!” Facelift compliments as he, too, takes cover.
Nova steps out from the fog, his body now almost fully reformed. Salvation crew members and pilgrims alike stare in awe at the Prime, not knowing who he was or what his true intentions were. Nova tenses, preparing to attack these new onlookers, but upon recognizing their ignorance, he stops.
“Behold!” he bellows, flaring his massive wings. “I am your salvation!”
“Already got one o’ those, mate,” a Decepticon quips, pointing to Salvation in the distance.
Nova follows the 'Con’s finger.
“Hmm…” he muses. “A fitting chariot for my return to Cybertron. But first, we must repel these heathens, yes?”
The sniper is thusly slain.
“Well, you’d be surprised,” Topside replies as he looks toward a nearby shoreline, where Heretic dropships were deploying more troops.
“…But I guess that story’ll have to wait,” the captain decides.
Scorchlock sighed. “They never know when to give up do they…?” He asked as he noticed the Heretic dropships deploying more troops. “And Bludgeon is nowhere to be seen…great…”
Delta and Blackbeak then fly away to Salvo’s front.
“Great job, kid!” Alterion yelled to her from the sky. “Now to the tower!”
“What tower?”
“You’ll see!”
And so the two flew in the direction of the building, attacking any heretic that was trying to approach it.
@MichaelBT-7474 It just so happened that Gronius randomly called Scorchlock.
“Respond, Autobot unit!” Gronius said, trying to use a formal way of speaking in case he called an official. They might be in the middle of a battle, but he still wanted to show that he was educated. “Mayday, mayday! We need your help at this location.” he said, before sending the ex-Wrecker his current location.
The crew members around Nova receive the message, and exchange curious glances among one another. Nova Prime? The tyrant who’d been dead for a million years?
Nova turns and drops his grandiose persona.
“Come on, guys; I’m rallying you here!” he says with a laugh. “Give me something.”
Behind the dropships, the surface of the ocean water ripples as an invisible craft glides above its surface. The Heretics menacing Delta, Salvo, and company seem to cease their advance, many of them turning their heads along with their adversaries to watch as the silhouette of a tall bot with an imposing figure strides through the fog at a brisk pace, making no sound beyond a rhythmic series of splashes as he thrust his feet in and out of the water. A red spotlight flares to life from an unseen source overhead, revealing the silhouette to be none other, than the feared bounty hunter Lockdown.
Lockdown’s face bore a stern, analytical stare as he surveyed his surroundings, his gaze lingering for a moment on Zepar before he deploys his visor, not once breaking stride as he steps onto the shore.
“He’ll be here,” Topside reckons, deploying his rifle again. “I reckon he’s been itching for some of that ‘glorious battle’ of his.”
The Heretic forces ahead of them had begun to engage a squad of Salvation crew members taking cover behind rocks. Our heroes’ allies were putting up a valiant fight, but some help would be appreciated.
The mercenary transforms into a sleek cybertronian car, driving below Juliana’s line of fire toward her. Transforming to robot mode, while remaining low to the ground, he slashes at her legs.
A squadron of Heretics, consisting of five Ground Troopers, two Heavy Troopers, and a Chem-Trooper were advancing upon the tower from the ground, below Salvation.
Behind the main gun of the Armageddon, the hull of the Worldsweeper rose up like some metal plateau. They bridge may be somewhere within that structure.
