Ygdras was tired, his energy largely spent from earlier but his desire to protect his family was pushing him to try and press on and on until he had nothing left.
His mind began to wander…why do the fighting himself when there were bounty hunters everywhere searching for a Jedi…what if they…got the idea that the Empire hired them to be cannon fodder? That the Empire was using them like they were common stormtroopers? What if they rioted and…took their complaints to their employers?
In that chaos, it could become easier to sneak in and take a ship while the Empire was dealing with bounty hunters who felt their honor had been insulted?
Ygdras felt it and decided to try and see where this could go.
He tried to plant the idea that this person should take a walk to clear their mind from the day’s chaos and perhaps wander to a certain building to maybe grab something to eat.
Far up on the Imperial ship, Digg felt the need to go get some space, but had little idea as to where he could go,“Coming here was a mistake,” he muttered.
OOC: Well, that can still be useful. We can easily have our guys hang out there and use The Force to help Digg to feel more comfortable talking with one of our spies or the Jedi about how to get Kay off the ISD.
IC: Chimm would sense Ygdras was drawing someone to the planet in the hopes of learning from them the means by which they can save Kay.
“We had clearance, you buckethead.” TK-3516 snapped. “We were ordered by the Inquisitorius to monitor the city, and the security compound was the ideal place to do that.”
The captain remained unphased by the empty insult. “You were ordered to seek out the Jedi, security monitoring is a job for security personnel. You’re an infantry trooper,”
“I’m not infantry.” TK-3516 replied, feigning being insulted. “I’m a specialist.”
“It doesn’t matter what I am or am not, though, fact is that the Inquisitorious ordered me to help find the Jedi, and I deemed it best to use the security systems in the city.”
Kaiden shook his head as he rose from his seat and began to move toward the doorway before pausing and looking over his shoulder at Kay. “You know, I really thought, out of all of them, you would have been the one to see. You would have been different.” He put on his inquisitor mask and left the room, calling back. “It’s never to late to reconsider.”
