“The only person giving clearance into that tower is me. I never received a request from you or anyone on your behalf”
“There must have been a miscommunication, then.” The splicer shrugged. “Not my fault.”
“So you trespass and attempt to bomb part of my compound?”
“That wasn’t my idea!” TK-3516 protested. “I’m a computer expert, not a terrorist.”
“You helped the bomber gain access to the compound, you are charged with co-conspiracy and assistance in attempted attack against a military compound,”
“The bomber? You mean Juliana? The bounty hunter who was hired to help me?”
R3 rolled towards Brorden quietly
“The bounty hunter, among others, who you were ordered to assist in bringing in an enemy of the Empire. Not to become enemies of the Empire”
Kaiden sighed, and left the room, the door snapping shut behind him. He made his way toward the bridge of the star destryoyer, hoping to find the admiral there.
OOC Sorry Meepinater that both of your characters are in cells right now, though you can’t say I didn’t give you a choice in the matter
“Hm?” Brorden grunted as he turned his attention toward the droid.
The droid let out a string of whistles and beeps,
So, what's your story, you two?
“Well, we’re just a couple of guns for hire, making our way across the galaxy. He’s a relic from the clone wars, I’m a lover of relics from he clone wars, so we make a pretty good team.” Brorden said as he relaxed in his chair.
The admiral would be on the bridge contacting the emperor. “We will terminate all three Jedi, my lord, I can assure you” the admiral groveled.
“I expected the problem to be solved. Not tripled, admiral” the emperor said as his hologram disappeared
R3 reaches for the clone helmet to examine it closer.
(@Traykar) Digg would get a thought, he worked his whole life to be a pilot and had gone through the training to have a shot at being a fighter pilot…and yet, for all his effort and all his skill, he was denied it and left to pilot cargo haulers far away from any action? After all he did for the Empire, it denies him that chance to give back to him?
“I’m probably just on the waiting list,” He thought to himself, knowing that it probably wasn’t true.
This war had many Imperial fighter pilot losses…wouldn’t he have been notified of his name being on the list’s upper parts by now?
“I’m sure that there’s a good reason, it, it’s probably just a long list.”
He would feel it, deep down he would know that the Empire was keeping him from the fighter pilot’s seat because of one thing: for all his skills, his drive and sacrifices he had made for the Empire, him not being a Human was what was keeping him from wearing that iconic black armor and hearing the scream of a TIE’s engines as he fought for the Empire…
“That’s crazy, it, it’s crazy, there’s no way that’s right,”
The looks the officers gave him every day came to mind; the disdain, the smugness and the ‘holier-than-thou’ attitude and words they used when addressing him…and the exact opposite given nearly every single time a Human did the same things he did, they got a slap on the wrist at the worst and a fast track to the Academy, even conscription, at best.
