I dont really feel the steam punk vibe
I gave him a older color palate, a smoke stack, and a more Victorian look than his counterparts, but yes, I’ve been trying to find smaller gears to improve him.
Yeah. Gears would help. I still like the moc by all means

Imo for the gears, I dont think the color matters
I’ll sift through my collection and see if any more fit, but I don’t think my sanity could handle light grey gears on this guy, maybe black…

Looks pretty great! The old Mata design really lends itself to a steampunk MOC. Nice idea with the sword.

It’s impressive how much detail you were able to add onto the mata torso piece. This is a neat rendition of Tahu that totally captures the steampunk theme.
