He stepped into the clearing, passing by Ari and Dolphus. He started walking towards the ship, and motioned for the others to follow.
His feet sank with every step into the sand and silt, as the ship came into view.

The clearing that Ghid talked about in his post is the clearing in the forest where they met the Armadan Captain. They’re still quite a long way away from the beach
