Oh yeah Jade exists huh
kinda forgot about her with the lack of posts
At least it’s not me we’re all waiting for this time
true
@Atobe_Brick post please :c
Thank you all very much!
actual good art advice
Samurai Jack was actually my main inspiration for this artstyle. I’m happy that it shows
I’m glad you like the artwork!
Truerer words have never been said my friend
This is Atobe after he posts in togav:
Also i mentioned you in togav.
Me when I remind Atobe that NOTaHFfan literally can’t post until he posts and he’s been waiting for months
If Atobe doesn’t post, I guess I could just move the story forward. I understand life is a thing, but I don’t want everyone else to have to wait forever.
“The powers that be have decided that a stronger Hand was needed,” the legends stated. “The adventurers, obviously befuddled, needed some help to move them past this roadblock.”
“The storm raged for three months”
Perhaps Rook will wriggle the boat from out of the storm’s grasp this weekend
or perhaps not…
Well, now that Atobe is off the hook…
N01 post in togav
new alternate timeline where each character’s origin gets swapped for another one
Mako would leave his village in disgust at the leaders and curb his emotions, channeling them to become extremely efficient at assassination and realizing the good he could do as a hired hand in the political underworld. His efficiency and selective targets catches the attention of the Sunblessed, whom he eventually gains enough confidence in their service to be appointed to travel on the Caelin’s Hand on a very important mission.
Jade spent most of her life on the streets, taken in at an early age by the Wohlford family, who had mysteriously lost their own daughter. They would eventually die from various means, leaving her in charge of their business, which she admittedly wasn’t very good at for a while. Eventually learning the trade, she was forced into employment for the Armada, looking for a way away from this toilsome life.
Rook would slip out from capture thanks to Tharos, who advises him to go into hiding to avoid the vengeful northern fleet. Heading south to a tiny village, he incorporates himself into their society, getting caught in a violent shark attack and ripping it apart, but not before a jellyfish scarred him horribly. While recovering, he overhears the village leaders being duplicitous, and in a fury slaughters them with his whip. Exiled from the village, he returns to the Summer Armada, looking for a new way of life.
Dolphus’ heart grew unnecessarily hard at the death of his mother, and his father’s interest with raising the abandoned Ari over himself drove him to weaponize that coldness into cruelty. A poker was the first to taste blood, but he soon grew desensitized to the violence and loss of life to the degree that it was as simple as any other regular motion. Donning gloves, he would humiliate his opponents in swordplay and kill them behind closed doors if they threatened him. By the time the letter presented itself, he had been robbed of his fortune by greedy bankers and the haunting memory of a hundred deaths loomed against him, so it served as a convenient escape.
Karl’s proficiency as a hitman attracted the attention of the courts, who spared him from his fate by signing him up in the Armada, where he proved extremely competent. Proving very skilled with fire magic, he was also signed up for a project he was unaware of, which left him missing most of his memory. Unsure of his past, he signed up for the summons from Tharwin and threw himself into the hands of fate.
Nico would be abandoned early on, and with no one around to shape his cruelty, his sly manners and carefree demeanor would enable him to become a master pickpocket, living in alleyways like a prince and always exerting the greatest effort to present himself as the king of the streets. However, even his decacent act couldn’t convince himself that everything was fine; adventure called to him, a life above the rats and rubbish. The letter was soon answered; what could be more adventurous than a life on the high seas?
It’s an odd thing to bring a little girl to the cold north, but young Alexis would see it no other way. Her father was going, and so was she - straight to prison, where he was executed and she was forced into perpetual servitude. However, she did not let it get the best of her, and on her 19th birthday she attempted a massive escape - which cost her her hands and almost her psyche. Fusing two massive blades to her arms, she broke free years later and wandered the southern armada, desperate for a purpose beyond her past.
Ari lost her parents far sooner, having been separated during a storm, and seeing in the young girl an extremely powerful bodyguard, Gregor Gorov took her in and trained her to be a master at all sorts of combat, hoping she could guard his heir once he had gone. However, fate took another path, and he was obliterated in a blast, which took her left arm with him. Altered to posses a massive wing, Ari refused to let it get her down, although the trauma of the incident would chip at her psyche for the next year. After trying and failing to keep jobs due to her past, she leapt at the chance to work with Mariner’s crew, and escape what she had lost.

I can guarantee, I definitely started a fire just to get warm (and burn a load of ugly decor that happened to be here)
