Okay voluntarily might be a bit of a stretch, considering he was pressured into it by Ari’s gamer move needing covering for, and he had no other way to explain the marine’s back being broken without throwing Ari under the bus, but shhh you’re ignoring what’s most important here

I have one note, they are still in the Archipelago ATM so the view is still islands rather than the open sea. Once they pass through the Sea Gate they will be truly in the open sea.

I was assuming that most of the islands would be behind them since they’re currently leaving the archipelago. If Ari is looking forward, wouldn’t she have the view of the open sea with only the sea gate in sight?

Well the sea gate is a passage between two islands, so still islands In view.

How far are they from the islands currently? If they aren’t taking up the entire horizon, I can just edit a mention of Ari seeing them into my post without having to rewrite the whole thing
