I don't think you can. The best thing you can do is quote somebody (Preferably Yourself), delete the text in that quote, change the name to whoever that person is, and copy/paste their post.
Use > before every line and it'll appear in a quoted format
What those two said, or there's always the old-fashioned method of using Quotation marks, I.E.
"Many quotes on the internet are fake." Abraham Lincoln, Tumblr
Shift key is too far.
Can I see the badges I haven't earned yet?
A green check beside the badges means you have them.
One of these days I'll achieve Leader status.
Have fun with that, Mr. Not_legomaster.
How does one make a poll? Id like to set up some ones for my own personal needs.
I'm pretty sure non-Leaders can't make them. I'd just use Strawpoll.
I seem to recall somebody making a poll with the new poll system, but I can't for the life of me remember who or if I'm just imagining things.
Edit 2: @BorisTheBiomech, here's your answer:
[ poll type=multiple]
- option 1
- option 2
- option 3
Minus the spaces in the brackets
Edit 3: apparently you have to type it out manually, copy-pasting and deleting the spaces doesn't work.
Which is odd. It works for all other formatting.
What other options than multiple are there?
Multiple just give the option of voting for more than one. You can also put single, or put poll name (not sure what that does.)
Am I doing this right?
- I like Nachos
lol I literally am eating nachos right now so... Vote confirmed
So, I have a literature topic, and every time I post a new chapter I add it to the original post, but now when I click the edit button I get this:
instead of the regular interface, and it won't let me change anything...
Well, that's new.
That's either a site bug or some kind of mod ability. I'd recommend asking the mods.
@Political_Slime You're a mod, help!
You accessed the history of the post.
Did you click the right thing?
Cause if you click this
It shows the edit history of the post.
Thanks Looch, it turns out there's nothing wrong. I'm just an idiot...
