#The Biowave Project: The Chronicler’s Company
While the Toa Nuva deal with grander threats on Valda Nui, this band of misfits and adventurers have a self-imposed duty to defend the Matoran against all manners of danger. Much to their delight, this often leads them into the dark and unknown corners of the island.
Many of you will have been expecting the Rahkshi Guard to be this month’s set showcase for the Biowave Project. Unfortunately we’re still waiting on @Cyber-Hand to finish making a custom part for the set. Therefore this entry was forced to take its place.
##Kapura
Kapura is a mysterious character, possessing unusual abilities that none can seem to explain, yet his calm but unpredictable nature alone is enough to turn heads.
As with all members of the New Ta-Koro Guard, Kapura wears black armour.
##Macku
Macku’s charm and enthusiasm is often what encourages her friends to pursue her suggestions for where to explore next. In a group whose unifying trait is spontaneity, Macku is the counterweight that prevents the team falling into utter disarray.
__
##Hafu
Hafu’s duty as an expert carver limits his time adventuring with the rest of his group, but his fame has often opened doors for the team when exploring the island.
##Tamaru
Tamaru is the smart but aloof member of the team. Some may call him a ‘loose cannon’, but in his band of misfits, this is by no means a trait exclusive to him.
##Kopeke
Kopeke the Chronicler is reserved and cold, but must shoulder the burden of being ‘the face of the group’ by default. He cares little for being a leader and so chooses to leave that post empty, but some would argue that this works in the team’s favour.
Kopeke’s original aesthetic has been restored, mainly to improve his colour scheme.
##Taipu
Perhaps living underground for most of his existence has made Taipu so adventurous, or maybe he was destined to explore the island with the rest of his team. In any case, his eagerness to join them on their adventures has never wavered.
To remove the ambiguity with Po-Matoran, Taipu and other Tan-coloured Onu-Matoran now have a Keetorange base colour. His colour scheme was inspired by Oohnorak.
##The New Recruits
With Hafu and Tamaru now transformed into Toa, the Chronicler’s Company is in need of replacements…
##Orkahm
As New Le-Koro’s resident Ussal herder, Orkahm has provided the Chronicler’s Company with transport on many occasions. His organised and meticulous approach to life makes him an odd choice for the team’s new recruit, yet Turaga Matau insists they are all destined for a common fate.
The Biowave story is making strides to diversify Matoran and their colour schemes, so in keeping with the Air element, Orkahm now possesses a light grey primary colour.
##Napou
Napou, like Orkahm, is a curious fit for the team; and one that none of them picked. As an adviser to Turaga Onewa, and a former member of the New Po-Koro Guard, Napou is a wise but reserved character whose sparing words carry great weight.
Similarly, Napou - a Biowave original character - introduces two new colours to Po-Matoran, namely Dark Grey and Dark Tan.
##The New Lineup
##Next Time: ???
With the holiday period coming to a close, we are now planning a schedule for further set releases. Though we are definitely in a position to continue the Monthly MOC Programme, we plan to consider further when or if this will be feasible.
