The Linux Topic

If you want to keep both, it would be possible to add a new partition to your drive where Linux could later be installed to.

This is a guide for setting up dual woth Ubuntu Linux, but ypu should be able to use these steps for most Linux distros. Note that this guide only works for Macs with Intel CPUs. I’m not sure it’s possible to install an additional OS if Apple Sillicon is being used.

Apple’s chips are ARM based instead of X64 from what I remember, and because of the major differences at a base level people havent quite yet gotten other OSes st work on them yet

I’ve heard that the RPI OS recently got an ARM version, but I doubt it can easily be setup to play Steam games.

i didn’t know people actually did that…

how is it working for you? i’ve only heard whispers of it among the tech community as something you could hypothetically do if you really wanted to, never heard of someone using it

There is a whole subreddit dedicated to it.

@kawaii_kitten You’re going to need to learn your package manager to install things through terminal commands. Unless Asahi has an app store equivalent. Do some googling and you’ll figure it out.

No idea if this is accurate or not, but this is the first link that showed up when I googled Steam on Asahi.
