Seriously tho, looks pretty sweet. Oil painting looks better due to a lack of a focus, the real one has focus in various places making it look off putting.

that’s one of the main reasons I did it, I just can never do photoshop correctly it always look off

Maybe get it to focus on the centerpiece of the picture which is the axe and Wärter
The Axe didn’t really work as well as the other stuff but it’s pretty good
maybe one where the axe and character are oil painted, would look comparatively better. Either way good job

I feel like you should do a mix of both. Making the background normal would make the forest seem bigger, and making a couple trees in the foreground oil while keeping the two focus points normal would draw attention to them.
