Got this kit I’ve been wanting for a while.
Though what’s a winged dragon of ra? I know a mega ultra chicken when I see one and this is clearly a mega ultra chicken.

Found some cool stuff.
Full set of 2005 knights, except for Jayko and two mismatched shin armors they’re complete. These are awesome figures, they’re easily the best of the three Knights’ Kingdom constraction waves! I love how they all have a unique action torso and their shields are works of art.
Also five Vahki, including the two I was still missing. Got the full set now!
Red Visorak too, I guess
Lastly there’s these three little guys from Tarranga, Tahu for scale. From what I can gather, Tarranga was a blind bag mix-n-match robot toyline from 2012, apparently with some lore behind them. I can’t find anything except for a surfance-level TV commercial, though. Would definitely be curious to learn more about them, they’re some neat figures (limbs are interchangeable).

Coming back to this once again… I just coincidentally found out it’s made by Qman! There’s more models in the series and they’re based on the Chinese video game QQ Speed Drifter.
Just watched a build video on this and it’s really neat, like a healthy mixture of Lego and classic model kits.

Got the new Lego spiderverse set. I really hope that if this set succeeds maybe we can get some more with the other spiderverse versions of characters.
It’s interesting though now being able to compare lego spot vs my bootlego spot.

A Katana-Odachi. From End to End It is SIX feet long, With the blade being about Four Feet long.
There are longer Katana, but the only people who would use such a blade are either overcompensating or are named Sephiroth.

Went to a recently-opened Bricks & Minifigs in my area and picked up some great parts, in addition to a 2015 Lewa set, missing only the golden mask. Lewa was a pretty great deal!

Got 86 Optimus today. I think I’m done with mainline G1 Optimus; I don’t think they can top this.
Though I am dissapointed that the trailer isn’t diaclone reboot sized; would’ve been a nice Easter egg.

Niiiice. Nearly picked him up this week but decided against it. How are his heels? I hear some copies have them upside down and on the wrong feet.

I got the reissue so I assume in this second run they’ve fixed the issue. The spinning smokestacks are still an issue though; I can just blow on the shoulder and those peices will freely spin like helicopter blades.

Conclusion to the Toa Mata saga:
My brother was there when Bionicle launched in 2001. He wanted to collect all the Toa Mata. He managed to get half of them but unfortunately, the next wave hit before he could acquire the rest.
Why am I saying this? Well, because I inadvertently helped complete the collection. I initially didn’t plan to do so: I grabbed Tahu Mata because he just happened to be on sale. Then I also managed to get a Pohatu. At that point, getting Onua was practically mandatory. Unlike the other two, getting Onua proved to be harder, since I had to post ads of my own to get him. After about a month and some false starts, I was starting to think I might never get him…
…and yet here he is! Complete and in excellent condition. I had to clean him up since he was a little grimy. Also for 15 euros.
And the gang is all here now…
