Also, I’ve just realized that Ryan has the coolest fight or flight response. It’s basically both, Ryan just dips, but The Jade Falcon fights. His coping mechanism for danger is just “become a BA, lol.”

I was trying to leave it ambiguous. The “hit him somewhere it” is supposed to be what she was thinking. He could be groaning for any number of reasons. If it helps I’ll change it to make more sense.
