I looked yesterday and found nothing, though.
Reviving this because something very very strange came in the post today.
So, just as note, I received the europe boy version of the Lego Club magazine (mmm donāt u just love sexism) and I was expecting to receive that booklet with the almost documentary style about the creation of Bionicle 2015. Instead, I received this booklet.

This is the front and back of it and on the back it has info about the Toa and on the front page it has Tahu grabbing the mask.
So iām gonna wrap up my queries/observations in bullet points
General notes
ā¢ Itās very DC comic like
ā¢ The protectors are the same height as the toaā¦ for some reason
ā¢ The toa look like their 2001 versions
ā¢ Oddly enough, the Protectors weapons look much better in this comic.
Tahu Master of fire
ā¢ Protector has been working out (although we know this already)
ā¢ Tahu is looking swagger on his lavaboard
Kopaka Master of ice
ā¢ Kopakaās Golden mask is on a pillar with a really bizarre face on itā¦
ā¢ Kopakaās spear looks like a Hordika minifigure spear
ā¢ No shieldā¦?
Pohatu Master of stone
ā¢ The protector and Pohatu look almost identical
ā¢ The protector looks flippin amazing
ā¢ Pohatu is actually holding his boomerangs correctly
Gali Master of water
ā¢ why is there a HUMAN HEAD
ā¢ Gali and the Protector have the same maskā¦
ā¢ are the protectors pretending to be toa??? who knows
Onua Master of Earth
ā¢ Onua looks like Stringer from HF
ā¢ The region of Earth makes no sense, like are they in a small tunnel in a wall??
ā¢ The comic is kinda crap for this one
ā¢ Onua has been on a diet
Lewa The Easter Bunny
ā¢ why is he a rabbit
ā¢ why
ā¢ Yet more giant heads, are we gonna have a relapse of legend reborn??
ā¢ The golden bunny mask
ā¢ Lewa strikes a champ pose
ā¢ They made the PoJās weapon look like it has vine-y things coming out of it and thatās a neat look
Well anyway, I havenāt seen this discussed yet, (please tell me if I missed this) but yeah, just some really interesting things!
please reply with some observations which I have missed, like if thereās a hidden Vahi or something

Look at it. Theyāre all missing weapons.
Tahu is missing his gold swords.
Kopaka is missing his shield.
Pohatu is missing his dagger.
Gali is missing her fins.
Onua is literally missing his hammer.
Lewa is missing his axeblades.

Iām pretty sure this comic was made a while back. There wasnāt any additional pages that werenāt scanned saying who wrote/drew this comic, were there?
PoS was always my favorite set of this new wave, but WOW IS HE AWESOME.
oh gosh, imagine how the fanbase would of flipped if they went with THAT mask for lewa instead.

No, it was literally just 2 pieces of light A4, stapled together and stapled to the middle of the magazine. No idea who made this, Iāll give the magazine another read and see if I can get the credit of the person who drew it. Maybe weāll get a comic later in the year with this art style? Perhaps this was the first draft of the real Bionicle comics?
Anyway, I was honestly quite disappointed, because the american version had that cool āMaking of Bionicleā. Also, nice vid @Kahi

Interesting. Seems like the artist didnāt know some key points to the lore (Human head) or this is just early concept art. Either way, this is neat to look at!

I donāt know, but these comics just seem so eerie and dark, the way the skull spiderās are drawn, and the strange almost mars looking way the earth region cave is drawn, and that random yet extremely creepy human head sunken to the bottom of the oceanā¦ it just makes me feel uncomfortableā¦

Lewaās mask may look like that because the person who drew this probably thought that Lewaās shoulder spikes/shoulder armor where a part of his mask.
