we all have our tastes.
The only part of the G1 cartoon that I like is the movie. It seemed to me like a high point when I first saw it years ago, but then I learned that it almost killed the franchise.

Yes. Apparently people loved him so much that after they killed him off they had to bring hi back in the TV show.
Am I seriously the only one who thinks that the characters in the '86 movie were cool, though?
Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime, Arcee, Springer, Ultra Magnus, Kup, Galvatron and Cyclonus? Anyone who appeared in the movie?

I’m on the final episode of season one of TFP. While I like this version of Unicron (I really like John Noble’s voice for him) I’m not fond of him being stuck at the center of the earth.

What is everyone’s favorite Transformers series? This can be anything, even if it doesn’t have a corrosponding TV show or movie (such as Universe 1.0). The only exception is 3rd party toylines; they aren’t actually Transformers. Hasbro or TakaraTomy series only.
Transformers Prime. Especially Season 3, Beast Hunters. DAT INTRO DOH!

@TFM101 Originally my favorite was Beast Wars. But after seeing that intro, I now remember how awesome Prime was.
@LurkingEhlek Unfortunately I have not seen enough of Animated to judge it. It looks great, but so far Megatron and Starscream are the only decepticons from what I’ve seen
Animated Shockwave is epic. Lugnut and Blitzwing are also big ones to watch out for.
