Toa Hagah

Hello everyone. I want to introduce you my Toa Hagah.
I’m south korean and this is my first topic.
So even if my english is terrible, Please forgivingly understand me. Thank you.
Because mask and spear 3D print design is unreleased, I think that I can’t entry canon contest.
It may be so, But l want to show my arts independently.

This is my Toa Hagah.

Gold ones. Gaaki, Bomonga, Iruini

Silver ones. Pouks, Norik, Kualus

Norik, Toa Hagah of Fire, Leader

Pehkui, Mask of Diminishment

Lava Spear

“Unity, Duty, Destiny… It starts with Unity.”

Bomonga, Toa Hagah of Earth, Deputy Leader

Mask of Growth

Seismic Spear

“You learn, you survive. You don’t…?”

Iruini, Toa Hagah of Air

Kualsi, Mask of Quick Travel

Cyclone Spear

“We’re Toa. We dare a lot of things.”

Kualus, Toa Hagah of Ice

Mask of Rahi Control

Sub-Zero Spear

"Our bodies have been changed, but not our hearts. Not our spirit.

No matter how we look, every breath we take, we take as heroes in the service of Mata Nui."

Gaaki, Toa Hagah of Water

Mask of Clairvoyance

Tidal Spear

"No. This is an opportunity.

You must learn to know the difference, Nokama."

Pouks, Toa Hagah of Stone

Mask of Emulation

Avalanche Spear

"Norik insists Keetongu exists.

Iruini insists he doesn’t, that it’s all a myth.

Me? If there’s a chance of a cure for the Toa Hordika, I’ll do my part to find this Rahi."

Norik and Bomonga, Leader and Deputy Leader

Iruini and Kualus

Gaaki and Pouks

I agonized their chest armor.

Then I find out that Hordika foot is best.

With Teridax

“It’s over, Teridax.”

This is hommage of Takanuva video.

“Clad in armor forged from precious metals, and wielding both Toa tools and Rhotuka launchers, they were the elite.”

Thank you for watching!

Now this is a team. May I ask how you managed to have that smooth 3D printed masks?

I think I’ve seen these ones somewhere before, they look familiar.

I absolutely love them, by the way. Very nice designs. Those masks look so good that could fit in with the official canon and nobody would bat an eyelid. I am tempted to suggest swapping Bomonga and Gaaki’s designs, though - not sure why, but that just feels more correct to me for some reason.

@Huemus
Thank you. I got these masks at Shapeways

@Toa-of-Snow
Thank you for your praise.
A few months ago, I upload these photos on my south korean community.
So I guess you have seen these through any other channels.
And personally, I think present state is best.

these look excellent!

Thank you sincerely :slight_smile:

I love how you used clear design patterns for who gets which torso armor and who gets long or stocky legs.
I also like how some of your custom Masks look a bit like ones we know, since they are meant to look like other masks from heroes past.

I do love these, I thinik if they were entered into the contest I’d vote for them. What really sells me on your mocs are the team cohesion and the uniformity of the team.

@Marzipancutter
What you refer is the points which I specially formulate in design.
So it’s very glad to me that you praise that points.

@Tarkur
Thank you.
I’m sad because my Toa Hagah are unqualified.
But l’m so happy more because people who say like you exist.

This contest went fast. Congrats to the winner!

I’m honored and that is undeserved praise to me.
But I will respect legally formal contest winner.

@Judgement don’t double post please. Double posting refers to posting twice in a row. If you want to reply to two different people, then do this:

@Example thank you!

@Example I don’tt agree with that

here is a topic on double posting

I would’ve voted for these. These are most likely the only ones that’ll actually take the two existing Hagah into consideration and copying their traits.
You’ve remembered to give some of them black torso pieces, to make the upper limbs the same colour as the lower ones, you’ve made sure to use Nuva shoulders for the silver-armoured ones instead of a more complex shoulder, you’ve kept the gear function and friction-pin arm, you’ve even painted the spinners to match with their colours.

These are, without a doubt, the best and most faithful Hagah I have ever, and probably will ever see.
I don’t care who wins the contest, these are canon to me now.

@Cordax
Sorry. I’m first here today so I don’t know that.
I will do so. Thank you.

@Monopoly
Your comment is best eulogy to me.
Actually I cared about detailed things like torso color.
But I thought that there will be few peolpe who notice these considerations.
So, for me, Your comment is more worthy than contest win.
I thank you from the heart.
