Transformers: Dawn of a New Age

Razor fires back with her blaster pistol, while Oreo is hit on his right forearm, damaging his armor. He grabs an energon cartridge for the Overcharger, and throws it at the mercenary, having ripped a hole in the protective seal. He hopes that the powerful element will have some effect on the giant’s shield.

OOC: Oops forgot about that. But he is.

Stonefist smiles grimly, if mentally, as he felt one of their annoying attackers get completely crushed under his heavy, rocklike shell. That takes care of one, at the very least, the gray-armored transformer thought. He then did another sonic scan to see where the troopers had entered the ship, to see if he could get the drop on them - literally.

Hmmm. Looks like they’ve managed to infiltrate the ship, Aralysa thought to herself as she surveyed the information. The two bots already at Deck Three, Oreo and Razor, seemed to be putting up quite the stiff resistance, but the Hecatan transformer decided to rush off towards the area anyway. Reinforcements couldn’t hurt. Right?

Unfortunately for Ld-L1 the electric shock caught him as well, and he fell to the ground in pain. He simply lay there, his pain too great to even consider moving for right now.

The dragon, still in a rage state, rushed forward. He grabbed one of the questionably conscious troopers in jaws, and threw them off the side of the ship.

Nova flipped back and cut her thursters, going into free fall. She took a few moments to lock her main cannons on to the swordsman above her, and fired.

The second explosion breaks the giant’s shield, knocking him over and killing three more of the troopers.

The mercenaries had been stopped in their tracks right beneath the hatch by Oreo and Razor. Explosions rumble from within the corridor.

With Oreo and Razor having stopped the mercenaries cold, and with Stonefist and Aralysa quickly approaching to back them up, the giant and the heavy gunner, along with the remaining troopers, surrender. They lay down their weapons and put their hands up by their helmeted heads.

“Stop!” the giant yells pleadingly, his voice artificially deepened by a modulator in his helmet. “We surrender- just stop!”

The trooper isn’t in much of a position to resist; her limp body tumbles off the ship and down toward the metal plains below.

When Gungnir suddenly falls, the swordsman pulses his thrusters, changing his course and moving him out of the path of the mech’s laser cannons. He clatters onto the hull, tumbling head over heels until his magnetic boots reactivate and anchor him to the metal. As his commander’s orders to surrender is broadcast over his suits comm system, he sheathes his weapon and raises his arms.

It was then Niko came running up to the group within Ferrex.

“I’m here! Did I miss anything?”
He quickly noticed the weapons laying on the ground.
“Oh. They gave up. Cool!”
The mikesu said, sounding a bit relieved.

Maximus let out a powerful and dominant roar. Though noticing the other troopers standing down, he transformed to his robot mode and looked around.

Nova reactivated her thrusters and rocketed back up to the ship. In less than a minute she climbed back to the Pulsar and landed in front of the swordsman.

Giving up are we?
She taunted.

One of the unconscious-or-dead troopers still lies on the hull, tendrils of smoke rising up from his armor. LD-L1 is also unconscious by the open airlock.

“You’ve destroyed our ship, half our force is dead, and you’ve got the rest of us surrounded,” the swordsman says, lowering his arms and shrugging his shoulders. “The Sergeant seems to think we’ve lost this one.”

Stonefist laughs his deep, rumbling laugh at the large soldier’s declaration of surrender.
“About time. One more minute and you could’ve gotten squashed.” the rocky bot remarked.
Nearby, Aralysa shot a glare Stonefist’s way, but otherwise her expression remained neutral. Turning her head to looks straight at where she assumed the giant’s eyes to be in his helmet, the Hecatan said,
“Mind telling us why you attacked?”

“Now hold on,” the giant says with a chuckle. “Just 'cause you have us beat, doesn’t mean we’re gonna spill the beans or anything. We’ve got a reputation to uphold.”

Stonefist laughs again, looming over the large soldier.
“Uphold, huh? Don’t think you’d be able to uphold my fist, if I got mad.” the rocky bot threatens.

Maximus decided to walk over to LD-L1 and look him over.

“Oh hey. The loon from earlier.”
The predacon noted, just before he knelt down to inspect any damages.

@ProfSrlojohn

The mech curiously cooked it’s head to one side.
I mean, you’re right. But you sound awfully casual for someone who just had their team throughly taken down the way we did.

Niko nervously held back, letting Stonefist handle this situation. Though he thought it was weird how the giant man was able to laugh at a time like this.

“You wouldn’t,” the giant says, and he sounds rather certain of that. “You cybertronians are right monsters in a fight, yeah, but you’re still civilized. You’ve got laws for how to treat prisoners, don’t you?”

“I barely knew any of those guys you and yours turned into hamburger,” the swordsman says. “I’m just thankful I didn’t join them. Unless you’re the take-no-prisoners sort, that is.”

“He’s right,” Razor says. She looks up from her repairs to Oreo’s arm. “I assume you are in charge of us?” she says to Aralysa.

“You’d like to know that, wouldn’t you?” Stonefist further threatens, still standing above the large man forcefully.

“Uh, I suppose so. Is there some kind of brig on this ship?” the Hecatan bot asks, unfamiliar with the Pulsar’s overall layout so far.

The large bot lay face first on the ground, clearly unconscious. His cloak was scorched and burned from Maximus’s electricity, and the tips still smoldered a bit. While the sheet of delicately hemed and embroidered cloth covered up most of the cultist’s body, the alarmingly large puddle of purple energon leaking out from underneath and staining the cloak indicated a concerning, if not life-threatening level of energon loss.

“I can go look,” Oreo says. He stands up, his right arm hanging limply in a sling with several metal braces and splints welded on. Razor looks a little nervous, seeing the damage to his arm.
“Do we have any medical supplies,” she asks.

Kitai felt the heat sear into his back. Shooting a glare, he leaned down, and released the pilot. He then went back to the airlock to join the others.

The giant stands his ground, but the other troopers around him seem a little nervous.

“Hey, Sarge,” one says, “this guy’s bulletproof and he just crushed Mendoza like a coke can. You think it’s a good idea to push his buttons?”

“You know what’ll happen to us if we talk, Peters,” the giant responds. “I’d rather take my chances with the sentient wrecking ball.”

Unfortunately, the Pulsar doesn’t have a brig, or any other dedicated space for holding prisoners. The ship’s designers apparently didn’t anticipate their vessel getting involved in this sort of activity.

The mech pilot falls onto the deck, grunting as shock absorbers in her suit cushion the impact. With her surviving comrades having surrendered, she follows Kitai over to the airlock. Her mech remains magnetized to the hull.

Nah. I’m not that kind of soldier.
Nova replied. Gungnir then sat down next to the swordsman, still looming over him.

But I still know well enough to keep an eye on you.

“Yikes! That’s not good.”
The predacond said to himself. He quickly picked the cultist up and hoisted him over his shoulder. He then jumped down the nearby airlock and made his way to the medical room.

“You’re not gonna keep me here on the outside of the ship, are you?” the swordsman asks, cocking his head to one side. “I mean, I suppose it’s as good a holding cell as any- several thousand feet above the ground and nowhere to go- but something tells me you’ve got better things to do than sit with me for the rest of your trip.”

Maximus would have to pass by Stonefist, Aralysa, Oreo and Razor as they surround the surviving mercenaries. The armored humans spare a glance at the Predacon as he carries LD-L1 to the medical bay, but do nothing.

The medical bay has a CR chamber that can treat LD-L1’s wounds.
