Transformers: Dawn of a New Age

Without further delay, Headcase flexes the fingers on his right hand. Long, thin needles extend from his fingertips. With his other hand, the doctor lifts up Kitai’s head and jabs the needles into the base of his cranium. The procedure wasn’t painful, as Headcase had promised, but Kitai might feel some slight discomfort as the needles connected to his brain module and initiated the neural link.

What Kitai and Headcase see is horrifying.
They see thousands of bodies.Green lighting illuminating a blood soaked battlefield.
They see people dying left and right, screaming in pain. And then they see Kitai himself. Standing before a dying cybertronian. “We’ll fight till the end before you quintession scum conquer us.” He laughs. “You really think you’'ll win.” With a brutal motion,Kitai impales the cybertronian, his face of cold steel. But before the cybertronian dies,he shoots kitai in the side of the head.It cuts to Kitai standing before a group of masked figures.“You’ve been deemed too dangerous.” One of them said.“You will be left behind.” This was said whilst Kitai was screaming, yelling and talking incoherently. He was then jettisoned out of the ship. And Kitai and Headcase wake up.

Now Kitai would feel pain as Headcase quickly tears the mnemosurgery needles from Kitai’s head. The doctor backs into a wall and stares at Kitai, eyes wide with fear.

What in the Pit was that?” he says, his voice trembling.

“That… could have been anything,” Headcase says, standing up straight and trying to regain his composure. “A dream, o-or fantasy of some kind. We can’t just assume that what we just saw was an accurate memory…”

“That wasn’t a dream.” Kitai said. “I’ve had bits and pieces of that in my dreams, but never of this detail. It was too real. I never even thought of anything such a slaughter or massacre. It was horrible. Bu-t being a quintession…
Never.Not a fantasy,not a nightmare,barely a thought.”

“But how could you be a- a quintesson?” Headcase whispers the last word, as if afraid to speak of the creatures.

“The quintessons haven’t been seen for millions of years- you couldn’t possibly be that old!”

Machina smiled, “Then I suppose I am the lucky first taster.”

She brough the glass to her face-plate, where a small slit opened up for her to drink the concoction. Machina X took a sip and slowly placed the glass on the counter. She closed her mono-eye for a moment before opening it and looking at Maccadam.

“Absolutely delicious.”

Windstripe went to the exosuit section of the market, his eyes scanning the different machines offered. His eyes paused stopping to gaze at a particular human machines. The technology was of course quite familiar at in a book-sense, but he had never quite experienced taking apart or repairing one of these machines.

Jade Dragon paused letting the words sink in. His thoughts briely distracted.

The warrior of Bellator immediately grabbed his guandao that was slung over his back, proceeding to a readied stance. His reaction, a moment slower than that of Maximus. However, his action immediately became that of a protective maneuver as he kept his body between the Prime an anyone else, excluding Maximus of course. His eyes scanning for possible enemies.

But could I ? “Headcase.” Kitai looked at the mnemosurgeon.
“I don’t have an alt mode. In fact,i can’t even transform. I tried it once, and for days on end,my body wouldn’t function right. There are organic parts in my body,in fact, but they are more deep inside.I have wings that are that are like an insecticon, but i can’t transform. My appearance is unlike too many to count.I’m not sure, but its possible i could be. I don’t know how old i could be but,i don’t consume much energon.I-” Kitais head began to spin.“I need to go sit outside and think about this.” He begins to go to the door.

“I’ll be sure to write that down,” Maccadam says with a smile. “Safe to drink and delicious- that’s what I’d call an improvement.”

There are human exosuits built for a variety of functions: extravehicular activities, operations in hazardous environments, mining and construction- there are many models.

Axis, Maximus, Cargo and Zipline have drawn themselves a crowd, being as famous as the are. The many onlookers are shocked to see Maximus seemingly decapitate the blue-green robot- how could anyone attack one of these living legends?

“Wait, wait!” Headcase calls after Kitai. “We need to talk more about this!”

What is it?” Headcase echoes. “If we’re right, you were once part of one of the galaxy’s greatest enemies! I’ve seen some disturbing things in my time as a practicing mnemosurgeon, but quite frankly I don’t know what to do with what I just saw.”

“So… what do you want to do about it? Sorry.” Kitai said.

“Don’t apologize,” Headcase says. “It’s just… it’s a lot, to put it mildly. Maybe you should take some time to clear your head. Your secret will be safe with me, don’t worry- I don’t think anyone would believe me if I told them.”

“Ok.Thank you.” Kitai said. He walked outside and flew on top of one of the bigger buildings. He surveyed the landscape, looking for anything that might catch his eye, whilst his head full of thoughts. How is this possible? Are there others who know? And the biggest one: Am I Alone?

In the city below, the celebration continued. While Kitai grappled with his thoughts and memories, the rest of the galaxy seemed to have not a care in the universe.

“Seeking to escape the noise of the festivities, are you?” a voice asks from behind Kitai. “You’ve picked a good spot for it. Unfortunately, it seems great minds think alike.”

Kitai turns around to see the speaker.

The speaker was a human man, tall and with a slight build. He wore a kind of armored coat, with black fabric extending from his hardsuit’s chest and back armor to cover his torso and legs. He slowly walked up beside Kitai.

“I’ve never been one for parties, either,” he says. “It’s just that, you see, I’m a traveler. And my travels happen to have taken me to Cybertron, as they so often do.”
