She blinked a few times and then wiped what she had said off the board and wrote the following, “Oh, I’m sorry. Maybe I should get some of my systems checked. I hope I’m not intruding, but I’m a wee bit curious about you folk. Are you allowed to share?”
“Probably not.”
Maximus said with a shrug.
“Though now that I think about it, I don’t really know for sure. I don’t know much about him at all really. Since we’re related, I should probably try to fix that.”
The predacon said, clearly begining to ramble.
OOC: Yes.
“Depends. What do you want to know?”
Gamma asked cheerfully.
“You’re gonna make me sick.”
Zeta replied. To which Gamma gave no answer.
“I don’t know. Zeta, would you count a gas as organic?”
Gamma asked his partner.
“I’m going on break.”
He said, walking away.
“Do you really want to do that this early into our ■■■■■?”
“If it means avoiding this, yes.”
Gamma turned back to Penicila.
“No, we aren’t organic.”
He pondered for a moment, trying to think about how best to explain it.
“Well, you have an essence right? What’s it called? A spark I think? How do they work?”
She looked about nervously and then tentatively wrote out, “Our sparks are what you could call a soul. Some of them have unusual properties, and all of them reside in spark chambers. It’s the key to our resilience. If the spark survives so does the rest of us until we can be repaired.”
“Well we work the same way. Our mind, our being, our everything. But instead of a chamber, it’s our entire body. Vex are made of a living gas. And we keep that gas in these robotic bodies.”
“Yes. Right. Escape now, family bonding later.”
Maximus said with an affirmative nod, continuing to follow the autobot.
She blinked a few times and decided to pry a little deeper, “That’s very interesting. Now, you seem quite nice and please don’t take this the wrong way, but um, why exactly do you trust me to know all this? Not that I’m planning on sharing that information around, but wouldn’t you be worried that I’d use that to escape?” She wrote.
The medical ward was empty. Railfire was sleeping. It seemed he had dozed off while working on something. He sat in a chair, his head and arms laying on the counter. A glass container by his head, and multiple computer monitors displaying all kinds of information.
“I’m a guard. Keeping you guys where you are is my whole job. Iota gives us a list of ‘need to know’ information, and our physiology isn’t part of it.”
She nodded and her countenance went back to being small and cheery. She wrote out the next bit, “Oh I see, well do tell me if I’m reaching that ‘need to know’ information. I’m not looking to take advantage of that. So, what do you think of us?” She lifted the board up to be read.
“You’re… Interesting. On one hand, you guys are in a rough spot. And I can definitely say I feel for you. But on the other hand, you also fight pretty d@mn well. So I can see why Iota keeps you here.”
It seemed he managed to get his hands on some sort of ‘Vex Sample’ and was studying it. Though the results would all seem gibberish to him.
Maximus walked over and nudged his shoulder. The old medic woke up with a start.
“Hm. What?”
He said sleepily.
“Good morning 'doc!”
Maximus said cheerfully.
“We came to talk to you.”
“Well good morning to you as well my apprentice.”
He said with a yawn. @Chromeharpoon
