“Yeah, the boss never really counts you little ones. I’m not sure if even knows you’re here.”
“So, you’re saying we could leave and no one would care? That’s odd,” she wrote.
“Maybe, but if I’m being honest, you guys are probably best off where you are. The rest of this planet isn’t exactly a good place for you little ones.”
She blinked, “Oh…thought we were in space.”
“What? You thought this colosseum was some kind of space station?”
The guard asked.
She nodded sheepishly, looking too embarrassed to comment.
“I mean, I guess I could see how you would think that. Since you’ve never been outside and all.”
Gamma admitted.
She wrote down something new on her board, “I’ve actually just kind of hid in the vents for most of these years. Just came out recently.”
“Wait. You can get in there?”
He said, acting quite surprised.
“You haven’t… Seen anything? Have you?”
He asked nervously.
She gave a voiceless laugh as she wrote down the next bit with her eyes twinkling with a muted mirth, “Maybe I have! You’ll have to be more specific! My power of smol knows no limit!” She said beaming.
“Seriously. My job, any of our jobs, could be put on the line if anything gets compromised.”
He said, very nervously.
“I need to know if you’ve ever been outside of any of the designated prisoner areas.”
Her cheery facade crumbled for a minute as she wrote down, “I wouldn’t have even known if I had. I was completely low on power, highly damaged, and mute of course. I can’t say I really knew much about where I was, or what I was doing. Just hiding. Lots of hiding…”
“When you see it, you’ll be floored!” Tie-Grabber said with exaggerated arm flailing.
“Fancy pirates. Steal rich, keep rich, be rich.” Machbreaker didn’t seem surprised by the news, but his mind was elsewhere.
“And their ship would be the best for survival?” Railgun asked.
“Probably? Better than most of the antiquated junkers at least.” Tie-Grabber responded with a shrug.
“Very well, we shall determine that later. For now, we have a change in schedule.” Railgun paused to let the two take it in. Machbreaker’s interest pecked while Tie-Grabber give a minor groan. “Stealjaw was executed and his parts could prove valuable. Today’s mission will be to find his body. If it can be found.”
“Oh, fantastic. Grave robbing, our specialty.” Tie-Grabber’s tone shifted to a neutral one, not for or against the change.
“Check disposal first?” Machbreaker asked.
Railgun nodded. “Yes, disposal zone first. Investigation afterwards if unable to find.”
The three head for whatever place would be where Transformers dump their general trash. And/or where Vex guards tend to be known for disposing of unwanted materials.
The guard calmed down.
“So you’re sure you didn’t see anything then?”
There were plenty of trash chutes that the minicons would be able to fit through, all scattered throughout the place, and all likely leading to the same location.
She shook her head and wrote down the following response, “Now I didn’t say that. I said I wouldn’t know if I did. Minicons are like, we give power, so I thought it in my best interest to avoid bots for a long time.”
“Well, I guess that’s better than if you absolutely saw something. Look, just, from now on, don’t go snooping around in places you shouldn’t be. For both our sakes.”
She wrote a response down, “May I ask what’s out there?”
“That’s need to know information.”
He said sternly.
“If I could just tell you what there is, why would I be so worried about you seeing it?”
Meanwhile, in tier 2, Jetfire went to find Juliana, so that he may discuss what to do with a certain traitor.
@ProfSrlojohn
She nodded and wrote down the next bit, “No need to worry, I won’t pry.”
Gamma let out a relieved sigh. Or at least, something that sounded like one.
“Thank you.”
