Transformers: Tournament of Terror. RP Topic

Ragnarok disassembled and the three predacons steadily landed on the ground.

Bluntforce sighed, looking a little frustrated.
“Well we just waisted what little time we had left on a conversation. Better hope nothing big attacks while we’re headed home.”

“Oh I’d love to! Believe me, but I doubt mother would ever let me leave the empire.”

By now, Grimlock’s wounds had completely healed. The giant slowly got up to his feet and looked around.
“What happen?”

Razorclaw then walked up to the giant, and began filling him in.

Nebula shrugged.

“No idea.”

Just then a huge transwarp gate opened above them, and a massive object began to break through.

At first it looked like an unbelievably large purple robotic crocodile, as a long toothy snout came into view with shining yellow eyes to follow.

This however was only the head of the ship. Behind it was an armored hull armed with an impressive number of cannons. On the side large letters read

“S.T.F.L Iron Maw”

There was a long flat deck atop the ship. As more emerged, a tall bridge section was revealed, with the ship’s engines just behind. Two massive solar sails unfolded and expanded from the sides, each proudly displaying the Star Talon insignia.

“You’d get me into more trouble than it’s worth. You’re better off with the other bots.” Simulus responds sternly.

His star gazing is interrupted by the arrival of the Star Talon ship. He smiles at it as his optics scan the full view of the thing.

“I’d thought it be bigger,” he jokes.

The Mini-Cons look up at the ship, quite surprised. Sure, it would take a big ship for everyone, but this was huge. Far larger than they imagined some pirates having.

“Are we sure they’re just pirates?” Tie-Grabber asks.

“Skilled pirates,” Machbreaker pipped.

“I’m more concerned if their rivals are just as well armed. The defensive force on Cybertron must be extensive to deal with these threats.” Railgun comments.

“Well,” she hesitated scratching the back of her head, “Probably…but…I think I enjoy your company a bit more. You’re quite intriguing that is,” she said taking a few steps closer, “If you have the time…” she said with an extended clawed hand.

Simulus looks away from the ship and at Spirit for the moment, optics narrowly moving towards the hand. Just how desperate was she?

“Fine. But if you can’t keep up, I won’t hesitate to leave you behind.”

He doesn’t take the hand and looks back at the ship, waiting for when they could board.

OOC: might I compliment you on the choice of music, good sir.

“Holy slag,” Backbreaker remarks, seeing the Iron Maw emerge from transwarp. Like the Railroad Team, he hadn’t been expecting the pirates to be so well-off. The pirates of his day were nothing to this.

“You guys ride around in this?” he says to Maximus and his friends, pointing up to the massive ship. “How in the Pit did ya get your hands on something like that?”

Nebula had a bit of a laugh.

“Anyone who puts a massive animal head on the front of their flagship probably knows how to have a good time.”

“Being the number one pirate crew on Cybertron definitely has its perks.”
Torchwing boasted.

“We also have a great captain!”
Maximus cheered.

“And an even better king.”
Bluntforce said.

“Well I wouldn’t say better.”
Maximus muttered under his breath.

The Iron Maw turned towards the gathered crowed and began it’s decent. As it got closer, a purple predacon could be seen standing proudly at the tip of the ship’s bow.

She gave a small nod, “Fair enough,” she said following him and transforming into her more athletic form becoming a head taller then Simulus. She nodded, “So, what’s your favourite thing about life? I love archive work myself. Data is a lovely thing,” she said with a content sigh.

“Who’s that?” Backbreaker asks Maximus, nodding his head up at the purple predacon.

Oddball trills out a loud, high-pitched greeting to the Iron Maw. He jumps up and down and waves his arms excitedly.

Maximus had a beaming smile, and his orange optics seemed as wide as saucers.
“Its Lockjaw!”

Maximus excitedly waved his arms while the pirate ship touched down. The predacon jumped down, did a somersault, and landed steadily on the ground. He ran to the group and nearly tackled Maximus where he stood. Embracing the young predacon in his arms.

“Maximus by boy! I’m so happy to see you again!”
The predacon said, sounding as though he was on the verge of tears.

Lockjaw was a somewhat bulky individual. His jagged purple armor was layered across his body. A robotic crocodile head was draped over his right shoulder, while a matching tail was draped over the left. He was a little taller than Maximus, though not by much.

Axis walked out of the exit ramp to the Sleipnir and leaned against the outside of the ship.
“Nice to see you too captain.”
She said in a dry sarcastic tone.

Railgun was not so sure about that, megalomaniacs weren’t what he would call goo time guys. He eyes the interaction between the Predacons wearily.

“Perhaps,” is all he responds with.

“For a cloaking sniper, you aren’t very quiet.” Simulus comments.

When Lockjaw comes into view, he almost felt like cracking a joke about how another purple lizard was in power.

Spirit gave a muffled chuckle, “No, not all the time. I’m quiet when I need to be I suppose. You have any questions you’d like to ask me?” She inquired quirking her head to the side a little.

Backbreaker takes a step back to let the pirates have their reunion.

Nebula smiled, watching the spark warming reunion between Maximus and the captain.
“Oh come on. How could you not trust that?”

“You haven’t any idea how much I missed you. How worried I was! Primus as my witness, never disappear on me like this again!”
Lockjaw said, hugging him a little tighter before putting him down.

“I promise. I missed you too.”
Maximus said happily.
“But now that you’re here, I have a big favor to ask. See, all these bots here are… Displaced. They need a place to go. I was hoping we could take them to one of our outposts.”

The pirate captain rubbed his chin, thinking things over. Eventually he turned to Backbreaker and looked him up and down.
“You there. You know my boy I take it?”
He asked.

“Sure do,” Backbreaker affirms. “Name’s Backbreaker; it’s a pleasure, captain. Kid’s certainly told me enough about you.”

“Has he now?”
Lockjaw said. There was a slight but noticeable smile on his face.

“Well any friend of Maximus is certainly trustworthy in my book. But what of all these others? Can you attest for them as well?”
He asked.

“Aside from your processors getting checked for malfunction, none.” Simulus answers.

Though when Lockjaw starts asking questions, bad thoughts came to mind. He readied to shield himself, depending on Maximus’s answer.

“Experience,” Railgun answers, not wanting to dwell on memories nor particularly take away the moment. He didn’t know them well enough to truly say.

“But I can be wrong.”

“Can’t speak for all of them,” Backbreaker says truthfully, “but we’ve got enough good bots to keep the more unruly ones out of trouble. We all just broke out of a prison together and mouthed off a queen; I’d follow them into the Pit and back.”

Lockjaw raised an eyebrow at those last couple of details.
“Is that so…”
He said with a hint of suspicion.

“Well I’ll tell you right now, I’m as honest as a pirate can be. Picking up outcasts discovered under mysterious circumstances isn’t exactly something we’re known to do.”

He then turned to Maximus.
“But, if this is something that’s truly important to you, I’ll do everything I can to find them a home.”

Maximus was absolutely beaming.
“Thank you! This means so much. It really does.”

Lockjaw smiled.
“Well then, what are we waiting for? Lets get these bots on board and leave this rock. Though I do expect you to explain a few things once we’re on our way.”

Maximus nodded.
“Of course.”

Lockjaw then turned around and walked back to the ship.

“Like he could ever say no to you.”
Torchwing said playfully.

@ajtazt @keiththelegokid

The pirate captain walked to the side of a ship, and a long ramp extended down from the top deck.

“Alright everyone! Listen up!”
He shouted out to the crowd.
“This here is a one way ticket off this rock and back to charted space! So unless you intend to stay here, everyone form a line and come aboard!”

Backbreaker steps up to the ramp descending from the Iron Maw, and Oddball skips into place behind him.

Simulus casually gets into line to try and not raise any suspicion. The Railroad Team does what can only be described as an orderly rush. They get in line as told, but attempt to get further ahead than the others as the line forms.
