Transformers: Tournament of Terror. RP Topic

Razorclaw and Maximus walked close to them. The raptor-con walking just ahead of the others. Once they reached the ramp Lockjaw’s more jolly expression changed to an angered and furrowed brow.

“You stay.”
He said sternly, almost a growl.

“Excuse me?”
Razorclaw asked, more than a bit confused.

“I recognize that mug. This whole gang of outcasts is suspicious enough as it is. But there’s no way in the pit I’m letting a Scavenger aboard my ship.”

“Captain-”
Maximus said, but Razorclaw quickly cut him off.

“Captain, sir, please listen. In the last month or so Maximus has shown me more respect than anyone out of my crew has in my entire service. The fact that you actually went through the trouble of hunting him down just to bring him back is astonishing to me. I doubt Rustwing even knows I’m gone. Captain, if you would allow me, I would be honored to join your crew.”

Lockjaw’s expression didn’t change. He turned his gaze to Maximus.
“Is it true? You showed a Scavenger of all bots kindness?”

Maximus nodded.
“Aye captain.”

“And do you believe she could make a worthwhile addition to the crew?”

“Aye captain.”
Maximus repeated.

Lockjaw sighed.
“First you go off and disappear for a month. As soon as I find ya you want me to harbor a gang of outcasts, and now you’re asking me to bring a Scavenger into our fold? Primus almighty, you’re testing my limits son.”
The captain muttered. He then turned his attention back to Razorclaw.
“I’ll allow you passage, but you’ll be kept to the brig until I’ve decided exactly what I’m gonna do with you.”

“Thank you sir.”
Razorclaw said. With that she was allowed to walk the ramp and board the ship, as well as those behind her.

The line moves quickly and with little incident.

Once they get aboard, Simulus hangs around where they’re told to stay. The Railroad Team meanwhile tries to get somewhere a bit higher and out of the way of the bulks. They try staying within sight of Maximus, so that when they’re ready they can give farewells with Nebula.

Backbreaker sits against a bulkhead, taking a well-deserved rest. Oddball shifts into his roller form and slides up against his leg, purring contentedly as the ball’s single eye closes sleepily.

The main deck was fairly large, made from what looked like wooden planks. An odd contrast to the purple metal hull. Towards the rear was small glass dome with a control panel inside, large enough to comfortably fit one or two individuals. Behind that was a large entrance that lead into the rest of the ship.

Razorclaw was currently being escorted through said entrance by a larger female predacon with a curiously quadraped build.
(Imagine something that kinda looks like this)

Maximus was walking with Lockjaw close to the bow. The two talking over recent events.

The others all milled about the deck, not really sure where else to go.

Backbreaker’s and Oddball’s nap would be quickly interrupted by an enthusiastic
“Hello!”
Coming from none other than the Vex princess herself. She looked at the two with wide eyed excitement.

Oddball opens his eye and looks up at the princess, while Backbreaker raised a hand in a wordless hello. Oddball starts up and rolls over to her.

Thea sat down crosslegged, happily patting her knees and looking around.
“So is this what all cybertronian ships are like?”
She asked curiously.

If either Oddball or Backbreaker were able to recall the queen’s words, Thea’s presence aboard the ship would be strange to say the least. As one of the last things Titania said to her daughter before they left was that she was absolutely not to be seen once the ship arrived.

Oddball resumes his robot mode and sits across from Thea, hugging his knees and staring back at the princess.

Backbreaker scans the deck, noting the wide open space and the wooden features. “Nah, not most of 'em,” he says in answer to Thea’s question. “Most of the ships I’ve been on were more practical.”

“Fascinating.”
Thea said with a starry eyed expression. Literally, as her essence could be seen through her eyes, and it had s very shimmering and starry quality.

“Do you know where we’re going?”
She asked.

Spirit’s face blinked and then she decided to give a response, “Why you wanting to dig around in my head?” she said with a chuckle, “Pretty sure there are easier ways to do that.”

Spirit simply stepped in behind him.

Penicilia recalled this and rapidly wrote down a frantic message, “Um, your mom said not to come yes?”

The Railroad Team gets close to overhear the conversation in case anything interesting is stated. Though if it is just retellings and nothing more, they decide to start exploring the ship more. Starting with the glass dome, mostly to have another view outside.

“Not a clue.” Backbreaker shakes his head. “Hopefully somewhere with a spaceport. I’ve thought about seeing Cybertron again after I got out.”

Oddball beeps out his own intentions for his newfound freedom.

“I am going to Mars and I’m going to start a garden and build a house with a white picket fence and adopt a pygmy Driller Worm and I’ll name him Fluffy.”

Indeed, Maximus was more or less recounting the events of the last month to the captain.

The minicons would easily be able to enter the small dome undetected as Torchwing walked in. He pulled a lever on the control panel, and the dome quickly rose up high above the deck. Supported by a sturdy metal mast.

Thea laughed a little bit.
“Oh those both sound so exciting. I have to admit I’ve always wanted to see Cybertron. I’ve heard so much about your people, but only now have I been able to see one of you in person!”

“Well… Yes. She did.”
Thea said nervously.
“But who’s to say mother will find out?”

“Well, I’m sorry your introduction to our species was so…”

Backbreaker’s voice trails off as he searches for the right word. Unpleasant, maybe? Violent?

“Don’t be.”
Thea said kindly.
“Your situation was far from acceptable. I’d say all of you were justified in your actions.”

Penicilia blinked and slowly wrote down on her tablet, “So when I die, I’d like to be buried somewhere lush and green please…just for future reference.”

Thea gently pat the minicon on her head.
“Relax. My mother won’t kill any of you because I didn’t do as she asked. And that’s even if she finds out.”

She blinked a few times and wrote out, “Have you heard of the term, collateral damage?”

Machbreaker mouths an, “Oh.” They try to remain unnoticed, but also take in the view. They suppose they’ll have to wait until the dome comes back down for further exploration.

“Same here,” Backbreaker says with a chuckle.

The elevated platform allowed for a great view of the rest of the ship, as well as the vast expanses of space around them.

“Louse night watch duty.”
Torchwing grumbled.
“Why do I always gotta get stuck with it?”

“Of course I have. But if I have anything to say about it, it won’t come to that.”

“So tell me about Cybertron. What’s it like?”
Thea asked curiously.
