Viruses in emails from a fake TTV?

So about 2 hours ago I received this email. Being fairly dubious online, I of course did not follow the link, but I thought I would just notify everyone on this as some who are less dubious whilst online may fall for this. I still do not know what it is, but I do not plan to click on the link anytime soon.

Also, I forgot to mention that this was sent to my main Gmail account, which while linked-is not the email address that I use for the message boards.

Interesting. I’ll change the category. I hope we can spread awareness for this.

While I think it should be fairly obvious to most people that it is fake, there’s no harm in spreading awareness.

The admins usually pin things, so I’ll just show them this and see if it’s worth the pin.

Luckily I never seem to get Emails from TTV.

Also isn’t @noobyninjaLOLOL a user on here?

Kevin from TTV is real.

I have gotten these before. I just delete them.

But spreading awareness for those naive people out there is a good idea.

Huh. Haven’t seen one myself, but good on you for bringing this up.

Yes, but i’m not sure the link is…

I’ve never gotten these before…

Odd…interesting, better keep both eyes wide open.

Well I’m glad the majority of people here haven’t gotten them, myself included.

Isn’t that just one of those emails for board notifications?

It looks like it, but I don’t think it is, because I can’t look at noobyninja’s account. I am guessing he(or somebody else) deleted it rather recently, because I found a reply from him 9 days ago, but it’s not letting me click on his account

Looks like it was sent Via PM
@Zelohak did you receive a PM like this?

Hhmmm… strange.

first steam, then youtube, now the ttv, everything is getting infected
