What did you think of Bionicle when you were first brought on to write for the line by Lego?

I loved it, the first figures I got was Tahu, Lewa and Onua since those where me and my brothers favorites so we could play together. Since then I kept getting each and every figure until 2010. I even learned the lore, and I absolutely loved it, even to this day, Bionicle is never far from my mind, it is the reason I became the person I am today.

I don’t know, what started it. I remember seeing a TV ad when I was 7, it caught my eye and when I got Lewa Nuva as my first set, I knew I fell for it. After that, I searched for any types of websites, more merch and stuff to know the lore better

The minute I saw this image I was hooked. It looked so awesome and I wanted to know more about what this strange and exciting theme was. Sadly my folks didn’t let me buy any until 2002, but the seeds were planted day 1.
