What pieces do you guys find most useful in MOCing?

I for one really, really adore this and this piece even though I don’t own the first one.

I personally quite like the pin connectors 1 and 2 as well as the double sided variants, the vahki UPPER torso (and lower torso :stuck_out_tongue:) these things, and the-ever-useful ball joint w/ through hole

if only I had more of any of these

I don’t think I’ve built a MOC with custom limbs in the past four years that didn’t use any of these:

Actually, all of the socket and Ball Joint connectors in different colors - there is just no Bionicle/Hero Factory/Construction MOC without them (with the exepyion for Mata/Nuva limbs, I don’t think they are that useful). Some bodies and techic connectors are always needed. But if speaking of G1 Bionicle armor I think that at least 2 similar Bohrok shields, Metru feet, Visorak leg end, Inika shoulder armor, Hydraxon’s upper leg armor, Onua Mistika’s shield and Scarabax shield half from Mata Nui. Sorry for not posting links, I will do if it is unclear what pieces I’ve meant.

I guess those are pieces which I’m still out off, no matter how many I buy they disapear in seconds.

I find Vahki waists, Bohrok eyes, exoforce arms, hand connectors, and those pieces off of Chirox and Nuparu Mahri (this and this) really useful and/or fun to use.

Incredibly useful, but also fun to find ways to replace them when you don’t have any more.

The most useful? Technic ball joints and sockets. My favorite pieces are exo force arms though.

Love this. Sad that it was retired after only a few years, making it somewhat rare and expensive. Still I find myself using it in almost everything I build.
