How’s this set a piece of crap? Overpriced in your eyes, sure, but the quality of the set is still good with exclusive minifigures and horse.
Some people just have higher expectations; there’s nothing great about the build itself, take the exclusivity away and its pretty bland

True, the build itself isn’t the best, but it is pretty clear that this set is merely a starter set for a Prince of Persia collection. Take a Star Wars battlepack for instance, without the minifigures most of them wouldn’t be the best. People buy those sets(and were suppose to buy this one) because of the minifigure characters.
Agreed, this set is poor but it does include a decent number of rare pieces like sand blue sockets and dark green bricks.

I remember I had so much fun with that set. Looking at it now it demands a revamp.

Really, though, the worst system set I own? Probably the Aqua Raiders base and my LEGO Castle Royal Joust set. Really, if it disassembles too easily when inside of a box, I don’t enjoy it. On the merit of it being an awful set, though … I don’t really have any that I hate in that way. Actually, I take that back. The 2008 hyena droid combines two horrible things: the crappy plastic that they were using, and those small hinge-joints that break easily. Literally have had to replace 2/3s of them with pick-a-brick parts, and I could only find them in white (in the set they’re grey).
That third one really looks like a dog thats been hit by a car and needed its legs amputated, and now has wheel legs. Thats rather morbid for lego…

What the heck were the set designers on when they made these pieces the feet.
My personal most hated set that I own at the moment is Ketar. Quite the godawful design.
They’re actually pretty decent approximations of the talon-like feet that the actual wheel-bike has.

Y’know, people love hating on Ketar. They forget that Ketar can actually move naturally, and not just jut forward it’s spine to reveal cannons. Ketar can actually survive without a Toa, and can move on land, and not just awkwardly hover.
Akida sucks.

I agree with this. I pretty much see Ketar and Akita as polar opposites. While Ketar is awkward in many instances, and has a somewhat unusual colourscheme, can at least function on it’s on, and doesn’t really need to be united with Pohatu.
With Akita however, whilst I do like the overall look, colourscheme, and construction, it doesn’t really do much in its own. Even with the main function it had, Akita has no real use for it on her(?) own, and is pretty much the only function where it is only useful on Gali for the Unity.
I actually do really agree with this. I really do like Akita as a set, but yeah, it is somewhat lacking.
As for the ‘worst’ set I own, well, there are no sets that I ‘hate’ or ‘despise’ that I own, that I wouldn’t really consider to be the ‘worst’.That being said, I’m not overally fond of Tahu Master. Overall, at least. And I guess in spite of what I’ve said about Ketar as well, he is kinda an oddity. But still cool in my opinion, at least.

To be fair, it is a fish who normally lives in water.
But it’s function is the most boring.
I won that set at one of those Lego store giant model builds. I think it was when we had to make Buzz Lightyear. That was fun

I have that. The only other Chima set I have sadly. This this now lies in pieces in my parts box. The only thing I have intact is the figure because its the only one of him I have. But the worst set I own is that Nexo Knights Aaron power up pack thingy. It’s pretty useless unless you have the app and its an awkward build and doesn’t even stand up with the figure on it. I don’t even like the armor pieces for the figure either. The only thing I almost like about it is the shield. But is it just me or is the handle upside down?

I had this set too, but it wasn’t that bad, some of those pieces could be used in mocs. On the other hand, I also got THIS
the only thing this has going for it is the skeleton, and maybe the glow in the dark spider.

IMO, it’s kinda hard to complain about sets like that. Especially since they’re given out for free in some cases.
