Quick question, what software would people recommend for taking videos of the screen (not sure what the technical term is). I’m currently using SMRecorder, but I’m looking for something that might do the job better. And something free

I use VideoStudio Pro X6 Ultimate. It’s about sixty bucks, I think, and it has many useful features. It’s very fun to work with.

Adobe Premiere Elements 9 because it came as a disc with one of my family’s computers with unlimited installs

I also will use the VSDC video editor, but I still need to learn how to use it.
