Mariana’s expression changed when Butch asked, and she sighed. “I’ll let you know everything that I know of her.” Mariana said. “I was only seventeen when she was conceived. And her Father, Basilio. I suspect he was visiting Earth when we met, and was long gone by the time I found out I was expecting.” Mariana said, and paused for a minute.
“I did what I thought would be best for her, and gave her up for adoption.” Mariana said. “It wouldn’t of been long before the UNSC would have “requested” I serve anyway, and the same thing would have happened. There wouldn’t have been anyone else to take care of my Daughter while I was off fighting in the war.” She said, glancing downwards slightly.

I’m taking time out of my day to kick your ■■■, least you can do is give me a challenge.” He joked giving off a smile as he went to punch her, but ducked at the last second and slammed his fist into the left side of her rib cage, finally delivering an uppercut.

“Almost.” Mariana said. “I have no idea what became of my daughter, Catina. Besides knowing that Earth itself wasn’t destroyed. She may be alive and well, I just don’t know either way.” Mariana said, closing her eyes as a few tears ran down her cheeks.
