2059: The Invasion

“Always.”
Llillaa says before racing off, towards their objective.

Grace nodded. “O-okay.” She stood up.

“That’s sad… do you think we can try and talk to him? Be the family he never had?”

“Okay, so you need to learn how to web shoot with precise shots and accuracy, like this,” he said demonstrating it as he fired a web towards the rooftop.

Bruce backed away slightly. “Are you sure?” he asked. “He isn’t that much of a communicator and he is really hotheaded, no pun intended, I don’t think he’d want to talk.”

Runa raced off behind him, catching up quick. “Don’t think it will be that easy.” Runa says to him.

Llillaa laughs,
“Like it ever would be.”

Grace copied, shooting a web at the rooftop. “Okay.”

“We need to try.” Katrina insisted.

“Okay, I suggest you try to pull it if it’s sturdy,” he said pulling the web and it was sturdy enough for him.

“Why do you insist?” he asked. “I mean…”

“Okay.” Grace pulled on the web. It came loose, and she shot another one. This time, she tugged on it and it stayed sturdy.

“I don’t know, but we always have to try the non-violent solution first. Maybe he will change.”

“And now you pull yourself, just like this.” he showed her as he used his legs and pushed himself and pulled the web with his arm which got him on the rooftop.

“So you think you can handle someone as hotheaded as him?” he asked. “Keep in mind he will be dangerous.”

Runa continues to drive ahead, trying to gain the lead.

Carlie eventually found a suitable Thai cart, and spent a good time inside sampling their dishes and eating to her heart’s content. It was really good stuff, and she lamented on the fact her stomach was not limitless.

Llillaa speeds a decent pace, though would eventually cap at his top speed and Runa would eventually slowly pass him.

Runa would hit his top just above, leaving them roughly in deadlock near each other.

Llilllaa grins as they continue to race, now it was up to who would give out first.

Excellerator started to overheat, as Runa cut power to non-essential faculties, such as lights in the back room, in order to prevent a total shutdown.

Llillaa didn’t have such overheating problems, though his body felt off, because he hadn’t moved in such a long time, and it hurt his focus, causing him to slow just a bit.

Grace copied him, and landed on the rooftop lightly. She smiled.

Katrina smiled. “Well, that’s why I’ll have you by my side.” She kissed his cheek.

Runa slowly overtook him, keeping forwards.

Llillaa snorts, pushing himself to go faster and eventually catches back up, putting the two neck to neck, though it would not last too long.

Runa started doing fancy maneuvers, trying to confuse and eventually cut off Llillaa.
